Actually i believe they use a 6 man rotation but i'm not sure how that works when playing online.

i hear ya. If there were any game of any type with great gameplay, we'd all play it from there at OS. We are still the minority though.

Actually they use a 6 man rotation.....but in the game it's a minimum of 4 ...however, some pitchers have a low recovery rate so they need those extra games or their stamina will be low and health too, which makes them more prone to injury.....but to answer your Q.....you need to use or rotate 4 pitchers minimum.

Re: Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2011 Impressions

I've had the game two weeks now and really enjoying it. Just playing exhibition games for now, getting a feel for all the teams and players. Recently I was in an offensive slump, only scored 1 run, 1 run then 2 runs. Hitting the ball well, but just couldn't break through. I was down 6-2 to the Fighters, 2 outs in the 9th, SS goes back into the OF for a blooper, tough play, but still a play they usually make in the game, he reaches back over his head, exclamation point, drops it. Next batter single. Next batter double to the gap. Next batter single, then a HR by a batter with only 2 HRs, it was awesome. Came away with a 7-6 come from behind victory and finally got the offense going. All because of that dropped fly ball.

Post update the opposite field swing has a lot more punch it seems. Nothing like getting a double over a shallow LF.

Cool, haven't had a chance to test out the patch but it looks very good.

Watch for certain hitters who have the "opposite field" special skill, O swing works well with them.
