Dreads, dreads, dreads, really people. You guys realize this is a early build they were showing? If this is a game killer for you just go to facebook thing friday and post questions about dreads being off. This might of already been taken care of if all we know, just needs to be adjusted to under helmet.

I didn't see a big difference between this game and NCAA 11. A lot of the cut-scenes are exactly the same as last year and even most of the pre-game is exactly what you see in NCAA 11.

I could be wrong but the big news about dynasty last year was the internet dynasty site which if I remember wasn't announced until beginning of June.

That's only if you're only looking at presentation though. I thought the gameplay looked much better, and the AI looked like if finally had a damn clue how to play it's own game.

LIKES
• saw some nice consecutive hit and double hit tackles
• improved trajectory?
• lighting and graphics (always look good anyways)
• psychic DB's addressed and hopefully adjusted
• better looking cut scenes, breaks, and intros
• WR route running looked more organic

DISLIKES
• super strafing - electric slide? wheres the proper backpedal technique?
• hunchback running still exists, at full speed your back would be straight
• the sliding and gliding still looks like NHL game
• trench battles still looked static
• defense runs as fast backwards and sideways as a fully accelerated WR
• acceleration out of moves such as jukes and spins seems too fast

Re: NCAA Football 12 Live Stream Available Now (If You Missed it, Videos Included)

I guess I'm pretty underwhelmed. This only reminds me why I don't let myself get too excited about EA football games anymore. Hopefully there are some features in dynasty that blows me away.

First things first, the good. The graphics are beautiful. The lighting is awesome and the grass looks great. I love that they brought in the ESPN style themes in the pre-game and during quarter changes. The running looked a little smoother as did the tackling. As a FSU fan, I'm pretty sure I'll always play the Osceola/Renegade spear plant when there is a big game (rivals or top 10 opponent) because it really does kind of get me pumped.

But that's as far as I can praise. While it's nice to get some presentation upgrades with the ESPN graphics, it still isn't very broadcast-like because the replays themselves are not broadcast style. When they decided to add those unrealistic replays last year, I hated it because I knew it killed any chance that replays would ever feel like a broadcast. That's the area in presentation where the 2K franchise shines in basketball, as it really does feel like watching a TV broadcast replay. But having cameras near the players feet, looks silly IMO and really just makes me want to skip all replays. Even more, they cut from one angle to another angle right as the play ends. That's what you would find in a trailer of a video game, not a broadcast style replay. I don't get why they are trying to add arcade replays while at the same time going for sim presentation. You ruin the sim with the arcade replays.

The gaps between commentary are head-scratchingly huge, but that's been the case for awhile now. I would have traded the pre-game introductions for all new-seamless commentary. It's really the same old boring, non-dynamic, hardly aware commentary system of the past decade. I'm pretty confident now that, like physics, it won't ever change this gen for EA.

The dreads are weak and the crowd didn't sound anymore aware of what is going on than they have in past games. I guess I can wait until the demo to fully test out the crowd awareness, but it wasn't an improvement from what I saw. Really, it seems like the same game from last year, gameplay/presentation wise with a few improvements that are noticeable while in game. No stat overlays. No stat comparisons. Not commentary on the stats. No matchup analysis, or rivalry analysis, or anything like that. It still doesn't play like a broadcast game (and we all know its possible for video games to play like one). I just wish they would go to youtube, and copy everything they see from a ESPN game, from the replays to the stats to the player introductions (introducing the lineups by showing player faces, hometown, class, and size) on that teams first offensive/defensive drive. Running still looks robotic as does the player interactions and celebrations. Oh well.

Looking forward to offline dynasty announcements. I spend 95% of my time there. I'll still buy the game because I love college football and need my fix but I don't really feel all that excited about the purchase. I guess I have just accepted that this is about what I should expect nowadays on this gen when it comes to football games.

Re: NCAA Football 12 Live Stream Available Now (If You Missed it, Videos Included)

The Mizzou character really kind of threw off the Q&A with his uppity-ness and frilly behavior, I was like dude sit still like a grown man,

but anyways im sure the live gameplay would of been better if both were serious about showing actually how gameplay is different from previous years like doing things purpose now i.e. cutting sharply throwing on the flats trying to do dive catches running the ball more sitting in the pocket and taking sacks to show how long it would take.

Highlighting blocking, coverage and more instead of just playing they should of tried to key in on new features, not once did they highlight the wrap tackle except when he wiffed completely.(Didnt seem on purpose though)

As far as presentation goes that was just play now so im sure there will be a difference in Dynasty mode.

Looks and sounds like last year's game!!!!! Seriously, going to cancel my preorder as I am not seeing or hearing anything different.

Looks like they spent a year working on dreads and pregame stuff that once you have seen it, one will quickly skip to get to the game.
