This is the closest method (still not using a flash drive) I've heard of that may work, but it's pretty convoluted:

I need to make an apology guys! I was thinking about the 360 & using modio to resign the saves. Still, I thought this could be done on the PS3 as well.

Oh...that 20 mil cannot be used for player salaries? I saw that on PSN and wondered what it was...

If they offered that for player salaries...that would be great!
Good idea.

So you will end up with guys making $3-4 million in AAA not on the 40 man and prospects on the 40 man making 400K (rightly so) in AAA and the majors. Couple this with the CPU's lack of putting top players on the 40 man right away and I believe that you have one of the main causes of the budgets getting out of whack. I didn't see this mentioned in the patch fix list is why I mentioned it. Could this be what is still causing the issue?

I didn't notice. Is that what's happening now?
If so, yeah...I could see that contributing to the problem....sure.

By the way...my "c'mon is right" post was sarcasm directed towards the poster. I certainly wasn't agreeing with him. Forgot the "smirk" in that post.

Good call squirt! I am loving the patch. The hitting is finally at my level. Looking forward to getting some game in this week.

playing some games after patch and for the first time i saw the CPU pitch around a player. I was the Mets playing Pitt when Wright came up and they didn't throw a single ball anywhere close in the zone. 4 straight pitches out the zone. Cool.

Just looked at the forums and saw this list.

Analog hitting easier, and pitching harder. You guys are even more awesome then you were before.

I'm seeing this too.

But nowhere in the patch list do I see any mention of AI pitching logic.

Keep in mind, I'm usually pretty quick to point out placebo effect to people.

Odd.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Either way, I'm not complaining. Even if it is just my imagination.

actually, I'm seeing this with HUM pitching....they say it's "harder to pinpoint your location" with meter pitching. I find this to be true, but in a good way...pitches that I threw that were just slightly off the yellow line were often meatballs before the patch, now they land more often than not outside the zone...this has actually improved my ability to pitch on HOF, and the frequency of walks I issue (especially to dangerous hitters when I try to pitch around them) has increased and seems much more natural and realistic...before I was getting hammered on HOF, even with good pitchers.
I'm also not as worried about throwing wild pitches with runners on base, since the catcher's ability to block or catch pitches in the dirt seems much more realistic now....before I was hesitant to throw pitches low in those situations, which contributed to a high frequency of meatballs...
