Very true, but thats not always the case. I love the change of scenery in the game though.

So these don't reflect offseason moves? That doesn't seem right... the rosters that ship with the game aren't last year's rosters.

Well then you are forgetting that Josh Johnson, Hanley Ramirez and Ricky Nolasco missed the whole last month of the season, and that the team traded/released on waivers a couple of their best bats at the trade deadline as well. Not to mention our best catcher missed almost the entire year.

But I don't have a problem with the Mets being one spot higher than the Marlins. Honestly I think both teams should be a few positions higher in the ratings but it's not a big deal.

I think the Dodgers should be switched around with the Rays. I mean, Rays were AL east champions and in the playoffs! And what is up with the Twins ranking?

No I don't think it does because the giants and rangers are over-rated, phillies, braves and reds are under-rated.

Im really upset that the angels are ranked SO LOW. Doesnt make sense to me. Angels are never ranked better 10 and they always make it to playoffs. Last year were injuries.

Underrated according to who? These are just your personal opinions.

The rankings are completely based on the player attribute ratings.

Re: MLB 11 The Show - Overall Team Rankings

Apparently someone at SCEA had a bad experience at a Twins game or something, because the 17 ranking is ludicrous. They are ARGUABLY the favorite to win the AL Central again, and lost nothing but a couple of bullpen guys, which was somewhat offset by getting Joe Nathan back this spring.

There is no reason they should be ranked outside of the top 10.

Nice to see the tigers getting some love... but as a fan I'm a bit skeptical about being above the white sox and twins...
