MLB PowerPros STILL has the best hitting interface EVER!

That interface is STILL better than The Show´s our 2k´s interface by a LONG mile...

In all fairness, Power Pros did have a pretty solid hitting interface (very similar to ASB). And their career mode was the bomb (only one where I could knock up a reporter and then dump her *** to go out with the team secretary aww yeah)

And to make this post somewhat on topic, I've had enough fun with this demo just testing out all the new camera angles. Still think I might switch back to button-based fielding though, since I find that I'm rather incompetent at moving the r-stick.

Of course i played the demo! That´s EXACTLY why i said what i said!

The interface of MLB PowerPros was excellent! Being able to move the left stick PRECISELY where the ball is headed it´s, in my opinion, the best interface possible for batting in a baseball game!

The analog hitting in the Show 11 it´s a nice addition to the series, but (again, in my opinion) the PCI idea it´s much better implemented in MLB Powerpros...

anyway... sorry if my post annoyed you in some way that i can´t understand (why you doubted i played the demo is beyond me...)

Oh...then one thing I HATE still about this game, and probably the ONLY thing I dislike about the game, is that when there's a passed ball, or the ball somehow gets to the backstop, the catcher runs to go get it and then slides to pick it up. The sliding animation sloooows that play down as to where it takes longer to pick the ball up. It's so annoying. I wish they didn't slide everytime they went to go get the ball near the backstop. Really wished they took that out, doesn't make a lot of sense...

I just wanted to say that the analog pitching is pure genius. The way its implemented mimics the mechanics of a real life pitcher. To be consistent and successful as a pitcher in this game, you have to be able to repeat your delivery just like in real baseball. This is honestly, imo, the best pitching interface ever used in a baseball game.

I just can't believe the most realistic sports game got even more realistic this year. Fantastic job SCEA.
