Those of you who said punch spamming is gone were right. Just KO'd a guy online (I was Ali he was Tyson) and all he did was try to keep running in close and throw as many punches as possible. I sat back and let him tire himself out and put him down twice. Guy was talking a whole lot of mess beforehand too. Disappeared quick.

If the foot speed and stamina worked more efficiently the gameplay would at least be decent for an ea sports game. The commentary and presentation is terrible. The clinches should have animations where punches can be thrown. This is just not enough of a upgrade over fight night round 4 for a day one purchase.

One of the funnier moments in this game come if/when you can knock a guy down and he's by the ropes. So far I have seen arms get stuck in between the ropes, bodies flop all over the place...it's pretty funny.

There are sliders available for stamina, but I think it's just about right. Big upgrade from FN4. It's a totally different game.

Hey what happens if you get the guys damage to 100% I got pacmans to 85% and then they gave us both 10's in the third round. so I lost by one point

Definitely feeling the improved camera angles & ref, it adds a lot to the presentation.

But...

Something just feels a bit off control wise. Maybe it's the slight difference between buttons from last year, but I'm getting used to it. There also seems to be a marked advantage for taller fighters, although we are talking about the Greatest. Still, I had issues getting anything done with Tyson, while I could dominate easily with Ali.
