You are dead on about the CPU offenses. They suck and the ai needs to be much better, particularly for mobile qb and the spread. This is a huge need for NCAA 12.

They really need to add more animations and increase the player momentum. Locomotion didn't go nearly far enough (could we get some options for this) and players still don't look or feel right. Plus the weak locomotion makes pass coverage extremely hard as CPU receivers cut on a dime and burn you repeatedly. Playing defense needs a fun upgrade as it hasn't been very fun this ten.

Re: Building a Better NCAA Football 12

I'll being copying what others have already said, but oh well.

1. Coaches need to be more involved and coaches should change jobs, we need a true coaching mode. Madden used to have something like this where your HC, OC, DC, and ST's coach would have contracts and could retire. Wasn't a true coaching mode but still.

2. Weight needs to mean something, which will lead into #3

3. Your players should match your system. You shouldn't be able to plug in a 4-3 DE to play DE in a 3-4 and so on. I've wanted this for years in both NCAA and Madden, and we have yet to get it.

4. #3 would make recruiting more fun b/c you wouldn't just target the top guys, but the guys who fit your system the best.

5. Give you the ability to modify conference members so if I wanted to move Nebraska to the Big Ten after one year, I could.

6. Someone pointed this out, but the menus respond so slow.

7. Please fix the player progression.

Take away any graphic/presentation upgrades that can/will be included, what can be done to NCAA 12 if it's still using the same core game engine?

-Tweaks/Mod's to some of the gameplay bugs that should've been fixed for '11 version.
-Tuning Spread/Option offenses to animate better (should've been done for 2011)

etc...etc...

I didn't foolishly make that statement out of thin air.
Even on the EA forum pertaining to NCAA 11, an EA Dev slipped-the-tongue and stated that the game engine limits what they can do and is pretty much maxed out.

So, if that statement pertained to NCAA 11, what more can we really hope for in NCAA 12, for it to be better if the same limiting game engine is what they're building around?

Simply put, the Motor Head is cracked on the current engine and no matter what is done to prolong it's life, eventually the engine will have to be replaced to move forward. Otherwise, other areas that help make things run properly will start to break and fall apart also (check NCAA complaints on forum threads as proof).

We know we're not getting a new engine this year, so again, how much more can NCAA 12 be built better?

I'm not bashing or putting EA down, but we must "Keep-it-Real" with what's about to hit the store shelves in July.
There's nothing wrong with making an informed purchased.

If you let your emotions get stroked to excitement so that you buy off of emotion, you'll be on forums 2-4 weeks after purchasing complaining, again.

First off, I love the enthusiasm, and you know from my position that I cannot go into tons and tons of details..

As far as the engine goes, that's for the most part out of my (being a designer) hand's, but from what I know, we take everything as a factor on what we need to do to provide the BEST experience with our engine..

I want to go in to a million details about why I personally am excited about whats coming this year to NCAA, but at the moment, I cant.. BUT, email me dude, the DAY I can tell you everything, I will.. [email protected]

Everybody is on this forum for a reason, you played the game, and you have feedback. Whether its small stuff or just obxnoxious rants, I like them ALL. I read these forums every single day and will always continue to.

Sounds like aspects of the game have already been decided/concluded, which would void wish list and threads such as this. Maybe I'm wrong, at least I hope so.

Hey, if you work on the game, then you know way more than I could possibly know and I'm willing to take a chance and believe the game will not be NCAA 11 repackaged if you say it will not be.

Quick question.
Is there a reason we are not getting the same type of communication/blogs etc... that Ian is providing the Madden community (eventhough it's released a month later), on the NCAA side?

I just hope when you guys do drop info about the game, it's turns out to be some "WOW" changes to the game!!!

Is there something about NCAA 12 that is going to make gamers say "OMG"?

I think on the new NCAA FOOTBALL 2012 we all the newest equipment an facemask more cleats alot more cleats then we should get to let our backpad to hangout like they do in person that will make the game more realistic we should tons of different hairstyle like dreads make them long medium or short plus i think we should have skull caps an when its a upset an you have 0:11 on the clock an you comeback on the #1 team on the game an beat them by that touchdown i think the fans students an everyone else should get to come on the field even the ESPN producer should run out there like they do on TV an when you have pregame on road to glory show your team exercise an running plays an put 100 more teams on there when you have road to glory i think we need to have all-american game then when you get in college we should summer pratice plus game then when your season is over on off-season we need to spring game. Now when we want our player to be good on road to glory we need to drill games like passing 40-yard dash an all other stuff we should get make to make our pants above our knees then we should get to choose different Qb style stance like they do on madden an everything an our running is ugly i think we should change it too different style. Now when we do pratice so our created person can be become better i think we should just pratice in shorts instead of our gameday pants cause that is tacky. But please EA Sports to make those changes we need the real play book style. An i think we should do like madden fight for the ball an when we have time outs they take off their helmets.an look at all the highlights from people that made those crazy catches, tackles, big hits, an break tackles from last year an put them on the new ncaa football 2012. An online playing against somebody put the people have good connection against each other. About the newest helmet im talkin about the new revo revolution speed an the ION 4D an ION Titanium plus all of their facemask on there to we need that would be nice an sweet. But the mouthpiece like the vampire an alot other mouthpiece an another big people tell me what i need to say is we need tatto now these you see alot of college guys with tatto now why can't EA Sports they put them on there but what all i said if you put it on there EA Sports alot more money what they been making.
