Re: Gameplay footage from MLB 11 The Show - Community Event

I noticed Corey Hart's jersey is dirty in the replay of his first at-bat. I don't recall any dives in the dirt while he was playing the field, however, he did have a hit and most likely dove into a base in the bottom half. But the replay would have been of his first at-bat before the dive. Not a huge deal but it is noticeable.

at 2:44 it looks like the #23 numbers on the back of the jersey stretch.

Now, I'm smart enough to realize how ridiculous a nitpick this is, but sewn-on numbers don't really stretch. Especially during routine wear. I have an authentic Brewers jersey in my office (don't ask) and I'm aggressively pulling on both sides of the jersey around the numbers. There is a minuscule ... repeat minuscule ... amount of stretching.

I know how this sounds but it's something that no sports game that I can recall has properly rendered.

Now back to saner posts.

I noticed this as well with the Fielder at bat and actually thought the same thing.

Looks like a bug. Seems the game is pulling his current uniform condition for the end of inning recap.

wow....it's just proof how advanced this game is. I remember good old days playing Earl Weaver Baseball on my Amiga. I never thought one day we would go into details like that !!

Wow... the graphical jump is just amazing; the lighting, the player models, the textures, everything... it just looks so outstanding. And the animations and overall smoothness? Again, just... wow.

Can't wait to see more, especially via direct feed with sounds.

Thanks for posting this!

Finally watched it on a proper screen and I like what I see.

And all so smooth!
