I don't thing we ever give SimBaller enough props for the work he does in the Association mode. Great job Erick.

In terms of what I'm looking for in a sports game, its clear to me, that barring some unpatchable bugs/glitches, this game will be the best sports game of all time, period. In fact, it may surpass games like Planescape: Torment, Ultima VII, and Xenogears, to become my favorite game ever across all genres.

I'm not even anxious for October 5th to get here. Whenever I feel 100% certain that a game is going to be a masterpiece, I actually become more relaxed, and can wait patiently for the game to come out.

I will say that I'm not sad that October 5th is a mandated day off for our school district.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Loving what I hear but there's still some real fixable problems.
This.
also will the star players potential increase as dramatically?
for example: star players like melo, iguodala, lbj still see ALL shot ratings +5 after year 1 ? (stars usually work on that 'one thing' their game needs ex: free throws or outside stroke or weight) i heard last year it was hard coded in. and that's why created players did not progress in 2k10.

one more thing, what about the 'older guys' like jkidd,nash,g.hill,d.fisher
will they still retire even if they still have a real role on the team?

I love how 2k interacts w/ us(the OS community) and i will show them how much on release day.

LUCKY..... lol

I couldn't agree more. This will likely be the greatest sports game of all time. But I am reluctant to say that b/c no one will know if the servers are adequate or if the game is glitch-free until October.

Re: NBA 2K11 Developer Insights: Association

I see a few posts already about what 2K can improve on for NBA 2K12. But who knows if there's even going to be a 2K12 with the possible lock-out coming up next season.

If these issues aren't fixed the only reason I'll play association OS to familiarize myself with my OS Vets Rockets team.

I hope these things are fixed, but as excited as I am for My Player, online league and the Jordan stuff, I have to mention that the offline game AI has been on a slolam since 2k8.
Have you not played the demo. Or seen any videos or read any insights??
High PIP, bad AI, and high shooting %'s have been fixed. I'm confident of that.
