I will not be purchasing elite 11 but I will give 12 a chance I have to take a year off and try and forget how to play 10 so when I come back I can learn new and all I will know I'd the new controls. R2 to pass after it being the sprint button/most important button in the game. The dribbling was perfect this Is a step back, the physics are weird and more suited for hockey were you won't see the obvious akwardness.

Lakers Vs Celtics gameplay. Still getting used to the controls as you will see haha
Thanks for the videos. There certainly is alot of hitchiness in this game. I'm still looking forward to trying it out but the prognosis still seems to be something for a change of pace, maybe pick up for 30-40 around the holidays and after a patch.

I liked that the AI Pierce showed some Real AI in motion, but the CPU didn't run a single boston set. The one time they sent Ray Allen moving to give Garnett space, Allen instead just got bunched in the paint and crowded his shot more. I was hoping to at least see the AI run the offense instead of devolving into 1on1. I guess it was marketed as being like playing against another user controlling the team, not playing against the team.

Let me point something out about the controls. They aren't just good or very good, they're great. As someone else pointed out playing defense is fun now, it's engaging. All the tips as a player is dribbling - if the gamer behind the sticks tries to dribble dribble dribble into the paint with Kobe someone is going to poke the ball free for a turnover.

The rest of the game isn't bad, at least in the demo it's very bad. The AI makes horrible passes, dribbles too much into easy steals. There are glitches such as a player standing like a statue with the ball, frozen in place, until the shot clock expires.

I don't care too much about weird animations on jumps and rebounds. Rebounding feels nice, it's not canned and decided before what happens happens. There are some nice tipped balls bouncing off the glass on rebounds. Boxing out and jumping at the right time and in the right direction make a difference.

Seeing players, even CPU players, adjust shots in the paint for falling layups or missed layups when the defenders pressure them or foul them is something new in an EA basketball game. It feels like there really is a collision and that the defender is making a difference with pressure, size, and contact.

But again, that AI, that ball movement, that spacing...ugh!

This surprises me - I wonder if auto-play calling is on by default in the demo? They should be running plays and moving the ball around.

Thanks - I'm going to see if I can get that changed to default for Become Legendary...I can understand what people are complaining about if they're in that mode and not running with it.
