I do absolutely agree that 2X AA would make the game look a lot better. (And people telling you to adjust your TV to make up for it does seem kind of bogus. I suppose I could get anti-aliasing by just taking my glasses off, but that's no solution.)
I don't know if any other sports games beside The Show use AA on the PS3. I mean, hell, they should. It's 2010 now.

I assumed that was their issue - they could've used AA, but the framerate wouldn't have held at 60 for the most part.

Heh, yea.. I use a monitor, so it's sharp. There's nothing I can do about it. That may be why I'm seeing the edges so easily. I mean, honestly, it's not a big deal to me because I'm more about gameplay than how a game looks, but the edges are very visible on my 21.5" monitor.

Loving the controls, very fluid...I can already tell this game is about to take over my life for the next couple of months along with Black Ops LOL.

All in one 4 minute span.

CPU offensive FOUL (pierce was a ballhog and went into traffic) First time in about 9 hrs. lol
CPU offensive Over the back
CPU Defensive three seconds.

seriously with kick balls, clear path fouls, and more blocking fouls than ever ON this demo PRO/DEFAULT game style, I cannot imagine what ALLSTAR, SUPERSTAR with SIM settings will hold. This sort of stuff may not mean a lot to some but, I love it.

quick highlight:
-Kobe fakes going in with a spin baseline. Double clutch patented DUNK
-Kobe thinks he has an easy layup. Attempts a shot in traffic. Missed shot
-Floor spacing is so great and my play is set to where Bynum is outside the paint leaving JO just inside the paint for a half second too long. I dont think I have ever seen a CPU defensive three seconds EVER.
-Lastly some IN AIR ADJUSTMENT Kobe Layups.. So fun to perform. You just gotta remember what way to press the shot stick to get the best possible adjustment. Some adjustments you perform end up being blocked or shot UNDER the rim.

Also not being able to do it with contact is strange. That move is almost dependent on contact in some cases. As we can see with Grant Hill in that vid.
Oops! I thought you were referring to just being able to do a quick spin to get around your defender in the open court or driving. I may have been confusing this and what you were referring to, based on someone bolding the part in my post about "the quick, tight" spin.

That fade move by Kobe, nah haven't pulled that off, but whoever does I hope they post how they did, because it's a sweet move, and vintage KB.

I was wondering about that to bro. Finally figured it out I think. The latter move is really bugging me though. That is signature KB pure and simple. It would have been the first animation I would have put in the game.

That move is the spin jumper... go watch MomentousCeltic's video in the "Flick Flick" thread... Shot Stick away from your momentum triggers that animation... you may have to do the "flick, flick" style thing to get the pumpfake though.

Thats not it bro. Its a ball fake to fade animation. Certainly not what we see here (I'm talking about the pivot or spin fake he put on Hill before fading away on the shot):

Please set me straight if I'm wrong. May have looked at the wrong vid.
