Might as well call it EA Sports Basketball 11 if this kind of craziness is involved.

If I'm controlling Nash or Fisher and I control them to attempted a dunk then IMO thats exactly what they should attempt to do.

Now Should the A.I. have guys who have no business attempting dunks trying? Ofcourse not. But if I'm telling them to I like the idea. I'm not broken hearted that guys wont attempt the dunk if they cant but I just think this is the way it should be.

Are we going to limit people throwing up half court shots too? If I press the shoot button the player I'm controlling should attempt the shot no matter where I am on the court and I feel it should be like that with all things user controlled.

Good post mlp but my thing is almost all games look terrible when you have 2 terrible users playing.

Even though 2K11 won't look nearly as bad with two bad users it will still be an ugly representation of the game regardless.

Now I know your complaints are mostly with the overall look of the animations but I'm sure with sim gamers it will be much more tolerable. Just for the simple fact that the game will be more methodical and less of a frantic style of bball.

And besides we always have a choice to play with cheesers or inexperienced users so if you don't like the way they play just don't play them. Get what i'm saying?

That way you can still get a game that resembles real life basketball.

This is pretty much what I have been hoping for from Elite.

totally different situation...u see random players throwing up half court shots depending on the situation in a real life game...However you dont see Shaq dunking from the FT line

Consider two unlearned players the ultimate stress test then

Like i said i dont think many here watch NBA games just the highlights
No I was stating the complete opposite, and I am agreeing with 23 there is a fine line between sim and arcade and having unrealistic control can blur that line.

First of all Fisher doesnt have the agility in real life to attempt a dunk, let alone Boozers surgically repaired knee shouldnt have an attribute to take into effect him jumping from that far just for the sake of control

Thats a straight up arcade video game, not a sim
