That looks exactly like 2k10 when someone knocks the ball out of your hand it almost always goes back to the defense for some unknown reason. They've got to make that more of a 50/50 type of thing if they can't get it right visually.

On top of all that irregardless of casual or sim sliders steals look to be still cannimated. Brendon Haywood's steal attempt gives him a magical speed boost allowing him to catch up to Wade, even to the point of almost getting in front of him.

2k/VC has got to completely get rid of these cannimations because it's hurting the gameplay.
This was in my ultimate sim wishlist as well:

-Get rid of all steal animations that make you lose control of your player. Steal button should simply be trying to swipe/deflect the ball. All these crazy animations are effective because they slow down the offensive player and fouls aren’t called enough.

Another thing someone mentioned at the 2K forums is bigs trying to reach in the post instead of contesting the shot. Dirk at 1:23. In real life they would put both arms straight up.

Again this is in default mode so we don't know what happens in Simulation mode.

Perhaps they could tweak it/tone down the reactions some at times, but I feel it's extremely well done and something to marvel at from a technology standpoint
I think it's the best commentary you'll find in a game. It could use some balance. Where you have the female reporter giving her information, I don't see them interrupting her for a big play. That big play interruption can get too familiar. The commentary can be chatty, but it's still very well done.

The game mode has nothing to do with the cannimation. The only thing I can hope for there is that the Haywood reach is called a foul 99% of the time.

The commentary in 2k is great. That's the last thing I'm concerned about. The big play interruption only happens too often when you are playing on arcade style sliders.

That's a good thing to do, regardless the quality of video games.

Unfortunately, I'm with Da-Man. It looked terrible to me. With Jordan in the game, I thought this would be a done deal. But that video looked very shaky imo.

Hopefully there will be more encouraging signs as we get closer to the release date.

If you really look at it, it looks like Wade fumbled it where in 2k10 its always off the defender yet the defense gets the ball.

The passes looked great, though the pass and baseline defense looked awful. The Marion to Haywood play would have been beautiful if that wasn't an awful pass.
