Underrated player of the year, Fred Jackson RB for the bills. He was second in the LEAGUE in all purpose yards (rushing, recieving, returning.) Not to mention how horrid the o line in buffalo was he still manged 1000+ yards. He in my mind is not an elite 90+ player but atleast an 87.

Correction, Fred Jackson led the league. He had 7 yards more than cj2k. Just looked it up. He is easily the most undervalued player in this game.

J-Stew for Carolina is only a 88, come on now, i think he should be 90-91 and DeAngelo Williams should be 93-95

Lets go Double Trouble

Re: Madden 11 Player Ratings: Who’s Overrated And Who’s Undervalued (Sportsgrid)

I think the ratings are balls for this game. Especially rookies and QBs. And it seems like if you're on a good team, everyone's good but if you're on a bad team, EVERYBODY is bad, or lower than they deserve. And potentials are ****.

Anyway, for the Eagles:
Overrated:
M. Kafka - crap, should be 58-59
C. Scott - won't even make the team. 55-60
D. Jackson - not a 91. 87-89. Still amazing
K. Washington - **** ST player. 63-68
N. Cole - garbage C. Not a bad guard. 72-73
M. Jean-Gilles - garbage. 65-68
S. Andrews - ****. 74-79
J. Hanson and M. Harris - 71 and 68, respectively

Underrated:
K. Kolb - trained for 3 years and traded Nabb. AT LEAST 78
J. Maclin - he's like a bigger Jackson. 83-84
J. Avant - he'll never get ratings love, but could be as high as 80
J. Jackson - got hurt but when healthy is solid C. 82-84
W. Justice - very good pass pro. 80-84
S. Bradley and E. Sims - 81 and 85

I know no one cares about backups but this is pretty much how I edited my Eagles.

Re: Madden 11 Player Ratings: Who’s Overrated And Who’s Undervalued (Sportsgrid)

a couple QB's stand out to me that i think they should be better

Brady Quinn-star at notre dame, if he has a good team, he can be special
Colt Brennan-broke nearly all of hawaii's records, always kills in preseason
Kevin Kolb- really, this guy averaged 400 yards when he did play, he's good
Tim Tebow- some people say, he's one of the best ncaa QB's of all time
Brodie Croyle- he only played a few games for KC, but he did well.
Curtis Painter- only a 65 ovr, this guy did good n preseason, plus behind Manning

matt moore, i mean come on, he came in to replace Jake and he won 4 out 5 games including against the Saints and Vikings. yet he's 76 ovr. really??

I mean, you ask for only educated responses, but your post is full of nonsense. You call out people who think he is UNDERrated, which is the opposite of what you meant. Then you go on with the classic "if you don't agree with me you know nothing about football" approach. Awesome job with the name calling, grammar, cliches, and descriptive nature of the perfection that is Desean Jackson.

And for the record, it is completely fair to 'hate on' a guy who showboats before the play is over and throws the ball backwards before he scores. That was one of the stupidest things I've ever seen done in football, and the dumb thing is that he did the same thing in college when he backflipped before the goal line and dropped the ball in the field of play... how stupid do you have to be to make that mistake twice?

Way to be non-biased though.
LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO the perfection that is desean jackson, he is over rated id give him an 85 the giants got cheated i think. Eli threw for over 4000yds steve smith caught over 1000yds hakeem nicks(his ovr is good w/ me i dnt complain w/ his 82) in his rookie year got over 700yds, mario manningham had over 800yds recieving and gets a 76??? The OVERRATED cowboys dez bryant has an 80 and nvr played in the nfl b4? Eli should be in low 90's steve smith should be a 90 n mario should be a 80. But really the eli one is utter BS. Over 4000 yds is better than romo, schaub, rivers, mcnabb and there all in 90's WTF

Matt Schaub led the league in passing yards last year, and IS a 90 OVR quarterback. And in regards to the 86 OVR for haynesworth, thats what he gets for talking 1 out of three plays off everygame.

What are you smoking and what game are you watching?

Brady Quinn = career back up

Croyle - sucks overwhelmed, a deer in headlights still

Teebow - has not played a down in the NFL, never played in a prostyle attack..let's wait and see first.

Kolb - give ya that one he looks like a playa.

Painter?? Painter?? Naaa are you serious? Did you watch what the Jets did to him? LOL....Bwahhhhhhaaahhhh.

Anway, I am glad you don't have any say in Madden Ratings (nothing personal of course).
