I think you're right. It's a small sampling, but it could translate to how the hardcore Madden population receives Madden 11 in August. However, being a noob here, it also may indicate how the hardcore Madden players will lean as opposed to the general population. I'm a Madden fan, but not a hardcore player, and I thought the demo was very well done and a ton of fun. It could be that this game was catered to the general public (who has shown that they buy Madden every year as well) and this is what the general public cried out for. Once casual fans, like me, are swayed and engaged in Madden, then the hardcore fan base grows and EA caters to the hardcore audience once again next year. Then again, I could be wrong...

I have no problem with difference of opinion. I just expect you to back up your opinion with examples and facts. Why do "you" have that opinion? If he said he enjoyed the game, that's fine. I hope everyone enjoys Madden 11. I really do. However, I don't see how someone can claim the game play is exceptional with out giving any rhyme or reason, or rebuttal for that matter to examples to the contrary.

Lol. It isn't a mistake. He is expressing his opinion as you are yours. Him saying that 2K is the greatest Football game ever doesn't make it so and your saying that it isn't doesn't make it NOT either.

If either of you listed what you think is the greatest Football game of all time, it would be no more of fact than any other opinion. And there would be Millions of people that would disagree with you too.

People don't always quantify why in their minds. When I eat a cake, I don't say , "The icing was a little too sugary, but the eggs they used must have been laid that morning, because they taste fresh. The flour could've been improved upon..."

Sometimes, we just say , "mmmm, cake , awesome!!" and stick our face in it.

I guess what I'm saying is I'm sticking my face in EA, and I'm not sure why?

AI playcalling is officially broken:

I'm playing as the colts. All game long the jets are stacked against the run. 2 minutes left in the fourth quarter, manning has 300 yards and 3 tds while Addai has -6 yards rushing. Time to run out the clock right? Jets decide to come out in DIME package! 1st down, 1st down, end of game. That's inexcusable.
