Re: NCAA Football 11 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here

Well I played 3 games on Heisman difficulty, much more fun, entertaining games as one might expect.

I won 21-10 as OSU versus Miami. I felt in this game that I threw the ball really really well...too well against a Heisman defense with a team like Miami...but they did stuff the run well. Their one TD came on a fluke run up the middle where I missed some easy tackles, other than that solid, fun game.

I won 14-10 with FSU over FL. By far my favorite game of the 7 games I've played on demo so far. I had a nice TD throw near the end of the first half where my guy went up and got it in on a perfect delivery by Ponder just before the CB and FS converged to hit him..he held on, nice to see a WR hold on to the ball on the Heisman level. I also able to stop FL's offense at times, which was tough during the Tebow years on Heisman. Good to see they are toned down a little bit. Ponder threw 3 INT for me so that's realistic lol. He redeemed himself by leading FSU to the game winning TD pass with about 20 seconds to go...it was nice, a great upset win at home. This is why I love NCAA Football.

I won 28-14 as Clemson vs Missouri. Ugh, idk what it is about this game but I keep having wacky games. I won 42-14 as Missouri on All American...and this time as Clemson THREE of my four scores were INT's for a TD, including a spectacular one where SS#2 intercepted them in my endzone and ran it back like 105 yards for the TD. I was thinking the CPU was doing it's classic comeback mode in the fourth when they cut it to 21-14 after two of my secondary players went up for the ball to tip/intercept and somehow #8 for Missouri got it and ran it for a long TD reception. Then they recovered the onside kick when my guy clearly bobbled it twice and still dropped it lol but oh well...I ended their hopes with another INT to ice the game 28-14. An entertaining game, just strange scores. The Wildcat works well out of Clemson's play book as well.

My analysis on Heisman mode so far is...either I've gotten better or its gotten a lil easier..I'm leaning towards a lil of both, in addition to the short quarters skewing the experience and toughness obviously.

Just had an issue with the CPU play-calling late in the first half. After getting a first down at my 20-yard line with 0:06 to go in counting and down 3-0, instead of calling a timeout and kicking a game-tying FG, the CPU went no-huddle, ran a play, and the clock expired with the CPU QB throwing a sideline pass to the 10-yard line.

Summer camp must have let out.

I doubt some of these clowns have even downloaded the demo, much less play out.

Anyway..all I want is proper hook zone reactions....thats it. 3/4 of the defensive worries I have in this game, will vanish by fixing that one aspect alone.

I know it's a demo, but I am disappointed by some of the replays and play calling things. But I do love the new hurry up mode alot.

One thing...Why is Florida playing away against FSU in the demo? Florida owns FSU recently...

Florida calls QB Draw play, the QB decides to slide for a 1-yard loss.

Another thing I noticed, there's a delay when switching to defenders nearest the ball carrier. That delay makes a huge difference when you're trying to get a guy before he breaks loose.

To me, it seems like most of the gameplay issues with this game are on the defensive side of the ball.
