my first bug encounter: CPU tried for a field goal on 4th and long. Ball hit the upright and fell down into my DB's hands in the endzone. Play suddenly stops. Gameplay resumes with the CPU getting the ball on the 20 1st and 10?

Not a bug. Any ball that hits the crossbar is automatically dead. In the case of a forward pass, it is automatically incomplete. In your case it is a touchback.

As a guy that still plays NFL 2K5, I absolutely love the gameplay and the pace of the game. I played as my team the "U". If the retail version gameplay is anything like the demo, I'm buying it. And I guess unlike alot of people, I do like the camera angle.
