I was looking over the live roster HUGE difference in number of A and B potential players....I wonder if that is more to do with budgets than anything game related?

I know nobody cares but this is perfect timing for me. I had just quit my season so I could restart with auto fielding on. Man, was I tired of seeing ground balls under my glove and 4-second animations with my OF rolling off the walls.

Was hoping to restart tonight though. Oh well.

GO BLACKHAWKS!!!

Finally Brandon Wood has been inserted into the game not having N.A. face. I'm in baseball heaven, finally I could start my L.A. Angels of Anaheim season. Thank you Russ, you delivered! Btw, the model for Wood is amazing, these are his edits:

Black Shin Guard
Black Bat
Baggy Pants
Stance: Brendan Ryan
Lowered his contact since he's hitting .170 with tons of strikeouts, lol!

Forgive me for not wanting to go through 22 pages. But is the "Potential Bug" fixed?

I saw the stance changes on the patch details page...

Did they change Jason Bay and Evan Longoria's stance or just remove them from hidden?

Looks like it.

I just simmed through the same process (Opening Day, 2014) with the OS Full Minors roster (aka Knight's) and I'm pretty sure I'm seeing the pre-patch issue of a whole bunch of really good players on the FA list. Or at least the ratings say they're good - Chris Coghlan is the #1 and he's almost a full red overall bar. Matt LaPorta and Nolan Reimold are right behind him, and it's a bunch of pitchers and catchers after that. All have very high overalls, and NOTHING like what I saw in the live roster.

Just to be clear - it's not superstars on this list as we know them today - it's a bunch of players who have progressed into that role.

Pretty interesting results overall - I've tried 3 different rosters and gotten three very different results each time. I'd say there's definitely something to the theory that the new live roster potentials are playing into this.

And....I'm starting to understand why the SCEA guys say that messing with potentials has to be done carefully so as not to "break" the game.

Re: * UPDATE: MLB '10 The Show Game Update #3 Details, Major Bug Found

Something unusual happened to me during a new Franchise.

I save/exit a game vs. Red Sox (I was the Yankees and it was the first game of the season)

Well then I played it again where I left off and I was winning 4-1 in the 8th inning I warmed up 2 pitchers (from the Start>Bullpen selection) then when I pressed triangle to go back the game froze on me.

Just the selection froze, I couldn't move. But all the background activities was still working (the scoreline). I left the game to see if it would unfreeze after a while, but no hope.

I was so frustrated I turned the game off and haven't played it since this afternoon...it's things like this that really turn me off about playing Franchise mode.

This hasn't happened to me, but with this patch it has. Then I have to worry about the new bug that people found with the scoring, I might as well hold off on Franchise right now.

I do appologize if this has been asked, but will RTTS and franchises need to be restarted for changes to take effect?

Please only answer if you are certain you know.
