Man I came in here to read impressions and what I got is a mix of thankyou's and questionable questions with very little impressions.. Can the thread stay true to the topic or is too late.

Not sure about this. I went to Dl 1.06 last night and it said about the same. 196 min or so. This was on my bedroom PS3 connected wirelessly. needless to say I didn't DL it. Although now that's OK with 1.08 out.

Wired though it only took about 15 min.

can you?

@ Tater

There is an option in the gameplay settings to turn hot/cold zones on much like the strike zone. There may even be an option to set it to fade, but I don't recall.

Trade impressions:

I did a quick sim to see what trades were being made. Pre patch, I didn't have the CPU trade of my players glitch. I was offered a trade of a no name pitching prospect for Chavez, Barton, and Ellis. Post patch, I got offered the same player but this time for Chavez only (which I will jump on in a heart beat if it happens when not simming). That seems much better. I saw a lot of pre patch trades that would have three vet stars for one prospect. In the post patch sim, it was the reverse, as it should be. I only had one head scratcher and that was Carlos Pena, Soriano, and Price for three prospects of the exact same positions. Perhaps the Rays were out of the race and wanted to cut salary. Or perhaps they got tired of home games freezing (joke). All in all, the trades looked much better. I also saw Boston pick up Smoltz from FA.

does this patch mean i no longer have to run a 30 team franchise? that i can just control 1 team?

if i keep my current 30 team franchise, and i switch trades back to auto, does this patch mean i will be ok now?
