Especially when I read the statement "If there is another patch".

Let's hope this is a learning experience for next years game.

I agree, I also want it fixed. I have no real interest in controlling all 30 teams. My post was a response to a poster who stated he wanted to use the work around after a patch was released to fix the issue. I was trying to tell him if they fix it, that he would no longer be able to over see all proposed trades. Again I ALSO WANT THIS FIXED.

Me personally i wont be starting my franny until opening day or very slightly after so am hoping the patch is out by then, if not ill make a call

The only thing I'm not clear on is when the roster update comes out Monday for the potentials fix will the new player potentials be applied to my franchise in progress or will I be forced to start a new franchise. Does anyone know how that works?

Most likely it's a new roster not a "patch"...so you'll have to re-start.

There is another good reason to wait until around Opening Day...can't remember what it is though..
