No way you can successfully bat in broadcast view, period unless you use timing only.
This isn't like Madden where you can in some degrees, succeed...
In any case not sure you can use broadcast cam for batting..

BROADCAST is a FIELDING VIEW. It's what takes place AFTER the ball is hit.

You can "go traditional" (the standard options, behind the catcher/offset/pitcher, etc.) when you bat, but you still have to choose a camera view...LOW/MEDIUM/BROADCAST/HIGH before you play the game. From what you're saying, when you pitch you will go into OPTIONS every time and change the fielding view???

You can bat in BROADCAST mode (with the traditional batting view options). That would certainly be the way to go if you want to enjoy the glory of seeing more of the field/action on, etc.

Oh, I was referring to the view from behind the pitcher that looks very much identical to an mlb broadcast. I'd love that view for pitching, but with batting I need the behind the catcher angle. There has to be an option to have that cool tv like view when I'm pitching and then have it switch to the traditional behind the catcher batting view when my teams up to bat without me having to do it manually every half inning right? I seem to recall that being an option for many baseball video games before dating back to the ps2 days.

you can set batting camera to "catcher or offset" and pitching view to "outfield or behind pitcher" not sure which one gives the television effects but it can be done in the options before the game and you never have to touch it again

Damn bro, one Oriole and two Yankee Franchises and I never even tried to mess with that, lol. Thanks for the heads up. I will be doing that in 10.

fantastic video of target field. I cant wait to play this game.
Only complain is the right center field mark is 328ft instead of 367ft.
You can see it on 1:26 of the video.
sorry for the nitpicking.
