He started the blog on the 3rd (Day 1). It ended with:

And would you look at that. I can demand a trade to a team of my choice. Deep down inside, I know I'm supposed to be an Oriole, but I'm going to hang tight with the Cubs for now.
Day 2 was the 4th, and started: "My Smokies got off to a hot start..."

I disagree. From the writer's comments, he's a big fan of baseball and knows the game. And if you mean he has no clue towards playing the game, then that's even worse. Someone who has no clue, playing with a new created player and still throwing 85%+ strikes when he's not nailing his gestures...is a complete joke. Especially from a company touting that the game is all about the batter vs pitcher.

Looking forward to picking this up. If it's fun then I'm cool with it. I'll also have The Show so I'll be perfectly set with baseball.

Yet when Chase played the game, he had a totally different take on Balls & Strikes as someone pointed out earlier in this same thread.

Quote:
Pinpointing will not be very easy to do either way since ratings also play a bigger role when pitching. Your outfielder will not be able to come into the game and paint the corners anymore. In addition to that, even when your normally wild pitchers are nailing their pitching motions, there is an inherent amount of wildness that will still show up. By default, Joel Pineiro is just going to be more accurate than Oliver Perez.

This also ties into how the AI performs. During my time with the game, I walked two CPU batters, but I also drew two or three walks against my CPU counterpart. When an AI pitcher with weak control attributes is on the mound, he may miss the strike zone by a lot more on a more consistent basis than a control pitcher will.
