I'd tend to think the answer to that would be "time considerations". It comes to a point in a dev cycle when they have to be realistic about what can and can't be done (properly) before the game has to be shipped off for pressing. I'm guessing giving us camera options for online was one of those and didn't rank as high on the list as other things.

i have a question, you know at angels stadium? well i noticed a darkened area on the center field wall, where nick adenharts tribute thing is in the real stadium, i couldnt see anything on the wall in the game however, but i did see that darkened area, are they gonna put the tribute thing there, or is that a ashadow bug? i'm hoping that they're gonna put it there, same for the phillies tribute to harry kalas on the left field fence, that would be cool
