PhantomPain, lol, wasn't really directed at you. When we start dragging in Power Pros into the comparisons......ah, I'll leave it alone.

Power Pros is very sim in every way with the exception of the artistic intent drawing towards... I don't know what the word is... but they have a Japanese cartoon feel to them is all. Otherwise, I could spit out some very realistic results in that game.

Let me rephrase then. I can't get into a game that doesn't look and feel like a sim-game. Everyone talks about how great of a game Hot Shots has been over the years. Some, if not most, for a while thought it played the best round of golf. But no way could I get a sim experience out of characters that look like that.

A few things:

-In regards to the whole HR Derby Camera complaints, wouldn't it have been awesome if a homerun was hit during the exhibition play? Cause then you would get an idea what the broadcast cam currently does in the first place when that happens and it doesn't switch to HR Cam. Just a thought.

-The catcher catching low strikes from the pitcher view still looks off to me. I don't know what it is but it just always looks like the pitch should be clipping the top of the glove the way he snatches at it. Surprised that wasn't touched on even though I'm not really sure how it's supposed to look anyways so that's probably just me.

-Still really really wished they'd implement the bat thing that mlb power pros and Yak-something Spirits uses. Where you control where you're bat comes through in the swing. Makes everything so much more realistic because the Batter's Eye is a joke.

Otherwise the game does look suprisingly bettter graphically than I thought it would. And I am pumped about the new Broadcast Cam (never thought I'd be so excited about a camera but yeah). I'm a presentation whore though so I hope they go crazy with that stuff and that they're liberal with the stat overlays and contextual comments relating to your franchise or season.

I don't understand what is so hard about getting the pitcher cam to work online. It's the main thing that is needed for online play (other than making online play lag less) but yet they continue to ignore it year after year!!

To say they are ignoring it is a poor choice of words.
