in the phills/cards game, the pre-game lineup showed carpenter was batting 8th! anyone know if this was manually adjusted, or a default lineup? this may mean tht each team actually has their own playing style or strategies! or maybe im just looking into a minor detail like that too much...

Just like last year. LaRussa bats his pitchers in the 8th hole. Its the default lineup. Not new.

i know. and thats what i was reffering to, the fact that this was represented in the game. last year when i played the cardinals i always remember the pitcher hitting 9th
