Broadcast is just a fielding view.

Batting and Pitching have their own views. So when pitching and you want the "outfield view" you select outfield.

When the ball is put into play, it will use the broadcast view if selected for fielding. Which is fixed behind the backstop and swivels and zooms depending on the situation.

Yes I totally got it, It's just another fielding view

They should just say broadcast "Fielding" camera because when I hear broadcast camera it makes me think that if you select that option the game will be shown just like an authentic TV broadcast

Which if you select outfield for pitching and that fielding view, with RTP, it will be.

Maybe next year they'll combine all 3 settings into one simple option
...They could call it "Broadcast" view

What's a couple more button presses? lol

That would be neat if they had "presets", however. Remember back when on the NFL 2K games they had options for "On field", "Broadcast", "In stands", etc., that would be pretty cool if they had those things that adjusts not only camera angles, but also audio settings and maybe whether replays are on or not, etc. Then obviously you can change them from there if you'd like.
