Re: NCAA Basketball 10 Available, Post Impressions Here

I see a huge difference in teams on AC. I play as SEMO in dynasty mode. I can hang with some of the mid-majors, but I usually lost by 20+ to Colorado and Rutgers.

I play on AC, and the only sliders I change are I set fatigue at 80, I set all fouls at 65, I boost CPU and Human offensive rebounding by 25 points each, and I boost Human hands in paint to 60 or 65 (still turn the ball over alot, mainly because I have a ****ty team).

I get excellent results with a wide variety. Some games I'll shoot 45-50% but some games I shoot 30-35%. Once I shot 22% for a half, and once I shot 58% for a half. I see similar numbers for the CPU. I get to the line enough, and so does the CPU. I can get steals if I press or trap.

AC seems perfect to me. It is the closest to out-of-the box realism I have seen in a basketball game in a very long time.

Seems like the game is playing pretty good for you. As for me the game plays great. I play sim style ball, I will run if the opportunity presents itself and I will run my offense if needed.

I was playing against Central Michigan and guys were taking shots from all over the court. They had attemped 6 3pt attempts in the 1st 10 minutes of the 1st half. I am using Authentics Sliders and I did notice they still take almost all shots when down on the block/low block but a couple of times they passed the ball back out. I still think it is an issue that I hope is addressed. I'm using the community PS3 Rosters along with the Dynamic update from today. Either I am not noticing a lot of the issues or I am just simply enjoying the game and I'm starting to think it is the latter for me after having the game for almost a week. Peace!!!

That's what I was looking for...and after 25 plus games, I think I feel like Ehh has said all along..Varsity is the way to go( at least for me )
I got blown out by duke on varsity playing with UVA with my sliders, thats the level I am staying with right now.

WOW!!! That's impressive. I started out on Varsity but just felt it was not for me. I was able to pretty much do what I wanted to do. I'm sure with the right tweaks I could get it to give me the challenge that I would be looking for. Authentics set is pretty darn good and not to tough when taking a top team vs a lower team.

IMO because you're going in reverse, you're the small school playing the big boys. When you're the big boys playing the low majors on AA the difference is not as big as it should be. It might not be an issue on AC, I haven't played a single game on AC with the retail, only AA and varsity.

I see what you mean, and you could be right. I haven't played as a big school against a mid major yet.

I played a team on AC (I think it was Belmont) and they were hitting fade away threes and their center was dribbling right by my guards (at half court in traffic without losing the ball) on his way in for a dunk.

I have it hard enough on varsity that is challenging without the massive amount of contact annimations.
