I dont know if anyones posted this because the thread is 25 pages long but...

Every SINGLE time I drive I either jump right into a guy and shoot over him or turn the ball over. It is the biggest joke I have ever seen. Honestly, that isnt realistic AT ALL.

Kind of OT for this thread, but I didn't want to start a new topic...does EA allow you to give a player tattoos?

Yeah, any newb to EA's games have this problem. They have a thing called layup solutions, hold the joystick left or right (away from the D, the side of the hoop you want to lay the ball up on) and press the shoot button and you'll be fine. Also start it pretty far out, 15-18' from the hoop. It's easiest to learn this using the baseline cam so you can see the angles better.

I think they did that to show off the crowd and atmosphere. The crowd models look very good this year. They're just like Live 10, but with much more intensity. I really wanna see the difference in atmosphere between the smaller schools and the major programs.

My impressions on the demo.

The presentation and Atmosphere is crazy. EA did an excellent job of making the game feel like a real college game!!!!!

But The gameplay for the demo however (IMHO) is mediocore!!!!! First, there's WAY to many deflections by the computer.....Far too many!!!! Second, the use of the triple threat isn't all that effective.....It seems everytime i try to create off triple threat and get to the lane to draw the defense, it's either A the cpu gets the charge or B my guy looses the ball.....And this would be just off of one or two dribbles. It seems the only way i get the majority of my points is just freestyling to death till i get space to shoot. Thats not too much fun or realistic. And my third issue with the gameplay is the cpu A.I on offense........The cpu rarely breaks there play if theres an opening....There's times i would leave shooters open to see how they would react and they would continue to run there plays....Or i'd give them the lane to the basket but they'll still be content running there offense. It get's so predictable that you actually know when the cpu is going to shoot.

I REALLY want to like this game because the overall presentation SCREAMS college basketball but the gameplay is not all that great (IMHO). I hope they clean some things up for the final version.

Just my 2 cents

Peace

Does anyone else see a lot of hitches in their jumpshots?

I don't remember seeing as many in Live.

The weird part is that I don't really notice that it impacts shooting success. I've shot some bad looking 3s with Sheyer that have gone in.

ok ....just to re--cap. after reading a couple pages.

btw i do not have the demo.however i do have a few ?'s

is the audio as poor as its been made out to be.

dose the 2-3 zone prevent the computer from playing smart basketball.

everyone has the same skill set , dribble moves , hesitations , no speed differential. etc

you can not substitue across all positions during dead balls.

dose the ai offense really feel that scripted.?

no player names for the cpu...really!

are their a range of jumpshot animations between the 2 teams.

I did not give this game much of a chance last season. After a couple of hours I went back to the champ. I am not trying to create a firestorm , nor do i want to read through 13 pages.I just want to know are these issues still previlant in the demo.
