Stick sweeps/pokes seem fine to me, fairly realistic. You need good timing and body positioning to make them work consistently, which is true to real life.

Ok, now that I'm messing with it more I agree with that about the stick sweep, but for the love of God the defensive maneuvering when switching to manual control is horrendous. That and changing back and forth from front to backward skating. There HAS TO be more control with this.

Great news about the patch. It's nice to see the NHL series getting the same attention as NBA and MLB when it comes to patches. I think it shows the confidence 2k has in the series and ensures that we can look forward to NHL 2K11. Thanks!

As far as the "choppy animations", I thought this was something a company could patch. Wasn't it the game "Two Worlds" that had animation issues, then I read (if I'm correct) that they released a patch that fixed the animation choppiness.....?

Darn! The longer it takes the patch to come out, the longer I have to wait to start my franchise.
