Gimme a ****ing break.
Yeah, points and rebound are the main thing...Dirk is a great scorer, but man, all the many other things in basketball can the mentiond playes do better than he does. Stop crying about overall ratings...Dirk is (argubly) a better offensive player than those other guys and he will be a better scorer in 2k.
By the way:
When you dont see why (a healthy) Garnett is still a better player than Dirk, despite points and rebound stats, you shoudnt even post in a thread like this.

i love the ratings...good job 2k..
dont just look at the overall ratings people. ex. Dirk N. is a 83 because even though he is a great offensive player, he suck on defense. Therefore his defensive ratings like d. awareness/hustle/steal/ stats are low..

Plus, does 2k still do rosters updates??? stop crying

Seems like they are ripping off old school live ratings. I remember high reguarded rookies being in the high 50's

Rookies have a history on having low ratings.

the ratings do seem a little lower than usual which is good, don't like seeing everyone with 90 ratings and 99's

I do believe Rondo is overrated as 2 way as he is he is tied for 10th best player on this game his defense is great but offense is inconsistent! James Harden being ranked so high is given if you watched any summer league play! For what I have heard about Kevin Durant and how he has continued to improve over the summer I feel as though he is highly underrated. Other than that nothing really stands out to me...everyone else will have to prove their dominance throughout the season to get a boost! Dirk, Pierce, J Kidd, and T Mac are all on the decline this year! I think the spread of player abilities will make for a much better sim this year, but KD him and Roy will be the best young stars in the league! ( I also disagree with Rudy Fernandez being ranked sooo low)
