Ohhhh Noooo. This game is just as spaztaztic as ever. It's STILL a struggle to get them to do a simple jumpshot-nuff said.

THE ENGINE!!!!! THIS HORRENDOUS ENGINE!!!!! The same problem as Madden. EA just doesn't get it. Basing a sports game 90% off of animations is not simulation, not fun, and certainly does not "give the user more control". Use the Havok engine, or...something!! The future is ragdoll physics (like real life), NOT animations. It's so clear.....EA is for the kids, and 2K is for the adults (Was that too much? I can never tell.). I've never played Fifa or NHL, but, those games get alot of praise. Maybe EA should just stick to hockey, and soccer.

I couldn't wait to run back to 2K10 Draft Combine, and its smooooth gameplay-which gives the user TOTAL control.

As easy as this decision is, just imagine how easy it would be to choose a new 2K football game over Madden!
Wait, Wait, wait a minute, I have yet to play the LIVE demo, I will once again say that the 2k series has been very good to me as to all of us. I have been playing for all 10 years now, and I bought the Combine and I thought it was terrible. When you say Engine, the guys over 2k have had the same engine for years, as it works, it still has felt very robotic, and the combine just proved it again to me this year. I played the combine once and that was it. 2k is just as guilty of having the same tired game engine. I'm sorry buy the jump LIVE has made this year to me is far greater then any jump 2k has made in any year of next-gen.

I feel you on that…what could be a solution though…???...should we get an initial defensive assist out of that move so we don’t get blown by on the regular???..or do we all just upgrade our manual skills…I dunno just trying to think what the best solution would be. It’s a great animation but like you said it can be useless at times.

One thing they should do is if I try to make a pass over the defender’s head while his hands are up the defensive player should try to tip or steal the pass and maybe even jump up to catch the ball assuming he has a hight steal/awareness rating

You have to release the pass button BEFORE you release the left trigger. I'ts easy dude - see Mike Wang's tutorial below.

Is the demo set to the "Finals" atmosphere ???

Or can you set it to playoff or regular season ??

If you can change it to lets say...regular season atmosphere. How is the player intros compared to the finals intro ??? (I know it's stepped down from Stephy's info but can anyone tell us what it is like ?)

Thanks.

The look of the arenas and bench area are leaps and bounds beyond last year's dark generic arenas with players on the bench that have no numbers on their shirts. The sound in last years game was solid on a very basic level; however this year they added more life to the arenas with the sound too. The gameplay was very solid and it was nice to see players diving for the ball and slipping in appropriate situations. I'd say LIVE is going to be nipping at 2K's heels this year. It probably won't have some of the depth on the Franchise mode features, but it's going to be a lot of fun to play.

I don't know man even in all the videos that were off screen all they players are shiny and glossy. I messed around with my picture and all the players still look like they are getting ready for a body building show aka Oiled up.

It's just something that isn't right with the game a little annoying. Hell i think the guy who i think is YI might be Lebron lol. I didn't even notice Lebron out there. I kept saying to myself why is YI dunking like he's Lebron lol.
