If you don't have a question for Czar or anything to say about the impressions then don't post in the thread. It's as simple as that.

Da Czar, did you see a fair amount of signature dunks in the game? Also, does fatigue effect the ability to dunk?
Did you see signature free throw shots? Apparently there are not many free throw routines, but how about the actual shots?

Btw your impressions are very interesting to read.

I just would like more player specifc individuality in the post up game.

I sure as hell hope that after 3-4 years Shaq has some power game in NBA Live. I can't get anyone to answer this question....it's like it gets ignored or something every time.

There are only a few legit offensive minded centers in the NBA today. There are only two guys who i consider power players inside Shaq and D.Howard.

I can live with Duncan and Yao shooting mid range jumpers. But Shaq and D.Howard should be very unique. Everything should come basically inside and in a physical way in which they are simply looking to use their size and strength.

Can someone please tell me if LBJ drives and Shaq's defender leaves him to cut off LBJ at the basket.....when LBJ dishes it to Shaq down low will he look to tear down the rim on a dunk or shoot some weak looking inside 5 ft jumper?

I'd also love to know if defenders simply just hack a Shaq inside because the big fella is way too strong to be pushed off the blocks.

I hope I'm not asking for too much realism but that is simply one thing I've seen ignored year in and year out when it comes to NBA Live and YES I know his DNA tendencies but it didn't work last year plain and simple.

Sup Playmakers. The scenario you described never happened when I was playing Mostly they left Varajao when they did leave anyone. Stuff like that you will probably have to get a feel for yourself man.

I tried to not to get soo deep in the forest that I couldn't see the trees so that question is really too specific. I played with many teams and not always for a full game especially when i was capturing.

even in the L though they don't let shaq do what they used to. you can't start at 15 feet and just bowl somebody under the rim anymore so if that is what your looking for then no that's not in the game. I didn't play a lot with cleveland outside of capturing for King James...

You should be able to gather something from the demo though with dwight who is another player i did not play with.

Like I mentioned earlier though backing down with aldridge from portland was not a very successful strategy especially against bigger players.

Once I get the game I will def look into to that and let you know what I find.

Jamesmaster welcome to the OS family !!!

To be honest I did not see a lot of dunks period. i played mostly on all-star and there just aren't a ton of opportunities. most dunks seemed very appropriate to the situation at hand.

I did perform a NASTY signature cuff dunk with Lebron that i can't stop watching so that would lead me to believe there are more in there although the exact number may take us awhile to figure out depending what level you play on. Most of my dunks came on broken plays or against poor defensive teams as I look at what I captured.

The lebron dunk was against the knicks and they were spread way too far apart and I put Harrington in a mixer but doing a right to left double cross over and he overcomitted to cut me off and I went behind my back... Had the floor not been spread just like it was help d would have been all over that.

Honestly I love that part of the game. One nitpick could be that the rookie post player guarding shaq should not have been that far from the basket on that play.... But It only happened once for the Jam !!!

My apologies as i would not be able to comment with confidense on the free throw's as there was soo much to look at. Most times I was making a note or something during the free throw routines. I do remember seeing Melo blow into his hands before shooting though.

So Czar how did you like the controls overall, from the vids they look pretty intuitive. And how would you compare them to previous Bball games?

Czar, random question here, but this is something I've wanted back in the games since Live 06. The menu look. Does the menu still look like they are trying to do the next gen thing or does it have the vibe that the last gen games gave off? Its not like really important, but I just want to see the old menu look rather then the next gen style.
