Simple: Detroit fans wouldn't throw hats for Crosby getting the trick

How many times does this have to be said? There is in fact ZERO comeback code. The only sort of comeback code is computer AI changing its forecheck, breakout, defensive pressure and offense/defense strategies.

If you're collapsing and protecting the net they take perimeter shots. If you're playing tight point they'll try and find their way into the slot. If you're a player who plays one single strategy the whole game they'll most likely start scoring in the third once they ramp up their pressure and counter your strategies. I have no problem if I pay attention to their adjustments. If you blindly collapse and protect the net all game their going to continually take easy shots from the perimeter and score on screens/deflections.

It's called smart hockey, not comeback code. You think EA tell us CPU has a flat out skating ADVANTAGE in Superstar but lie to us about a comeback code?
I agree. When the AI ups their strategies to play more agressive I guess in a literal sense it is 'comeback code'. But it is realistic. And their extra agrssiveness leaves them vulnerable to odd man rushes just like real hockey.

Thanks redshirt, I've never seen it actually addressed by an EA developer before, the NHL forum finally has some representation from you guys and we appreciate it. You can see why we've felt that previously I'm sure, maybe I just suck late in the game.

I know the totals are from the simmed periods too but, if each team is easily getting 8, 9, 10 shots in the 5 minutes and double that and you get 16, 18, 20 shots for 10 minutes, that's kind of high. Keep in mind I'm playing on superstar, where the cpu seems to get shot's off and through however they want, I'm kind of skeptical.

I passed the puck enough and played D without any penalties so I dunno why such a low score.

As the Offensive D I had a +1 and actually had the game winning goal in overtime. I had A's in stats and position and a D in team play(I had a fight near the end of the period, and I guess that could justify a D maybe) The weird part is I was drafted 15th by the BOSTON BRUINS. I was like Huh??? (Bruins were 25th pick this year and 15th was the Ducks)

So anybody else notice anything weird like that? Are forwards usually picked higher than D in your experience?
I was a "tough guy" and got drafted 1st overall by the Bruins. It's weird because I only had 1 assist. I also had a fight when my team was up a goal and a interference penalty. Maybe Chara and Lucic weren't cutting it anymore in the fighting dept and they needed some fresh fists.

I know there's no comeback code, the only annoying thing I notice happening is when the comp dodges about 3 different checks and walks out in front of the goalie and scores. But that doesn't have to be near the end of the game, a lot of factors may go into it, it doesn't seem to happen much on all star and up or when you have your players increase the pressure on D.

Weird. I guess after the first be a pro game you do, it just shuffles the draft order. So did you get A+ in everything? I guess if a tough guy got a gordie howe hat trick in a game it could be reason for a #1 pick.

Yep I did get an A+ in everything. I didn't score a goal though, just an assist.
