I think the cartoon-ish look is the color pallete and lighting. I think that the player textures in Live for the past couple years look great with their skin looking more realistic. If they can work on the cloth physics (a little too much shorts movement), sweat (sweating profusely all the time, even bench players who haven't even got in the game yet) and maybe even some of the facial structures of some of the players, that would be great.

Looks like they are doing what they did back in 05 from realistic to a more colorful palette and the screens look great Jameer is spot on.

Yes, it does remind me a lot more of an upgraded Live '05.

That's not a bad thing IMO... I just find it odd (and a bit ironic) that some blast games for looking like "upgraded" versions of older games, but only when it suits their cause.

Who cares.... give me a great playing game any day. Just get it to play like the sort and I'm sold.

Nba live is good for one thing and that's making sure 2k doesn't sit on it's ***, like ea does with madden, and make a sub par 2k game. Nba live sucks otherwise. If ea ever gets an exclusive nba deal id quit playing video games altogether. You can drool all you want to over screenshots but the gameplay in the nba live series is just simply pathetic.

I agree that up to this point the gameplay has been a dissapointment in recent NBA Live's, but don't be too quick to write off Live 10 yet.
