A few impressions regarding the Playstation 3 demo:

1. Regarding the graphics I think they are very lackluster compared to NCAA 2009. That said however I donot think playing in whatever the name of that Stadium is these days is a good judge for how good or bad they are. I never enjoy playing in a NFL stadium in NCAA. The graphics are not even on par with Madden. Hopefully as some people mentioned, the lackluster graphics are just demo related.

2. The quarterback play: after every snap there is a slight hesitation. This takes away from the immediate pump fake like Farve used to do immediately after the snap, and the passing is not as responsive.

3. A horrible glitch that really needs to be FIXED are the snaps from center that totally evade the quarterback, and are ruled as an incomplete pass. That is bad especially when it occurs in a crucial point of a game.

FIX THE PASS RUSH. FIX THE SLIDERS..and this game is money.

Excellent improvements in the passing game, DB AI, Defensive AI, and Blitz improvements.

It's a good start..now finish strong and get what needs tweaking tweaked.
I agree completely. I played it for over 4 hours straight (on Heisman) and if they fix the sliders and rosters like they say they will and tweak the pass rush slightly, I will play this game more than I did any other NCAA game in history. No doubt about it.

I'm pleasantly surprised.

The "Defense!" chant sounds like an indoor basketball arena. LOL
It sounds like it was totally cut and pasted in to the game and doesn't feel like its part of the stadium crowd at all. Very poorly done IMO.

On another note, I Just finished downloading the 360 demo and it does seem to play a bit smoother and faster than the ps3 version, but I think I actually prefer the slower speed on ps3.

A couple of other things too:

- The game speed and overall feel is so much better than '09. Just what this game needed. Still not where it needs to be because we need more player momentum in the game.

- I love, love, love many of the new animations. I was also happy to here they toned down two of those WWE-style tackles that were happening too often.

- Gameplanning is a very welcome addition to this series. I could see my defense trying to strip the ball more often when I told them to do so. I also like that I can highlight a receiver. Gresham is a beast as he should be.

- Graphically, there are definitely some anti-aliasing issues going on because the jaggies are pretty prevalent.

- I'm not a big fan of the Blimp Cam for the Coach's Cam. It's too drastic. The brighter play art on the field is much better though.

I don't think I will ever put NCAA '09 back in my PS3.

Agreed, I've seen this twice now and it's bumming me out.

+Pocket is nice

+Pass rush seems good to me, not great but good.

+Lots of new animations.

+Player lock

-Zig zag running by the cpu on occasion.

-CPU running game seems a little anemic.

-To many dropped passes.

-Oh, and the referee looks like a copse lol.

Question: Is adaptive AI in? Because it seems like the cpu defense is MUCH better and smarter.
I'm absolutely positive that I remember reading it was in PJ.

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here

I'm not having too many problems with the game except for pass defense on Heisman. It is so hard to swat passes when the CPU throws a deep bomb over their shoulder. And also it seems like the CPU can throw beautifully lobbed balls while the user can only throw bullets or lobs that go way to high in the air. Also the pass rush is only effective at times. I'm pleasantly surprised by the demo, though.
