I had a little trouble running at first, but (for me atleast) I found that I had to be a little more precise with it ya know? Now that you said something about the gameplan options working, I might just try em. At the moment I dont even touch em, I just keep em balanced. Guess I'll tinker around with em a bit, see what happens.
Yeah, I had trouble running at first, but have now gotten the hang of it. I pick my holes better and just seem to have a "better vision".

In regards to gameplan..its something that I messed with in one of my games to see how exactly it works, as I was opposed to it being in the game, but I'm liking it. Its by no means a cheat, boost, or whatever, its strictly the mindset that your players are in. It seems well done, at least in the limited time I've spent with it.

But like you...I play mostly balanced.

I'm from the school when you need a play you make it happen, with your user catch or you make it happen with your feet to buy some extra time. You might as well just sim the game with this toned down gameplay. Your not doing anything....

Let us MAKE A PLAY EA. Don't tone the game down to Madden 2009 which was the WORST football game since next-gen Madden 2006 in the series.
Dog, just dont touch the gameplanning options. Keep em at balanced and the game play stays the same. You dont HAVE to bother with that **** if you dont want to.

Now I understand everyone has their opinions, but once you state your negative opinions there's really no point hanging around after that ya know. Take yer wet blankets to another party, lol.

I think playing the game has made me like it more than just watching those hiddeous videos of the lack of pass rush. The pass rush is bad, I never came close to getting sacked and had all day to pick apart the defense. The pass defense seemed kinda weak but they picked me on the last play of the game when I was trying to heeve it downfield.

Game feels slower than 09, more like Madden 09 which Im not complaining about because when it is too fast, its hard to control the RBs through the holes. Only saw maybe 1 incomplete pass that wasnt dropped or picked. And please make the ball rotate on the ps3 replays at normal speed. I cant believe they said they fixed it, and then its still not fixed.

And then my only other gripe is the crowd noise...its horrible. It sounds soo generic. They've put to much reverb on the crowd and band. It sounds like they are in a huge auditorium instead of a football stadium. I kinda like the demo but I know the game wont be fun very long with the lack of real pass rush and defense. It'll become a 30-day stop gap for me unless the retail version is a lot better, or some sliders help with the pass rush!

wow...all american is a complete joke...i ran 4 straight hb screens for huge gains...

my back has 200 yards receiving in the last quarter

those plays dont work much in heisman where the real game is at

i dont get why ea never has all american or all pro in madden anywhere near decent

i won 38-7 in all american

in heisman it would be a miracle to get that many points in 2 min quarters

Thats the percentage letting you know how close you are to setting up a playaction against your opponent utilizing that particular play/formation.

Say if you run a HB dive up to 100%, the concept for this is that now you can pick that formation or whatever and run a pass play/playaction but the AI will bite on the run. Thats how its supposed to work.

Does it actually have an effect? Couldn't tell you. Most additions such as this and gameplanning, I dont really mess with. I kind of ignore that ****.

Maaaan, my PSN download took over an hour and now it's about 75% installed. Doesn't sound too horrible after having time to skim through the comments but for those who think Madden 09 is slow??? Something must be wrong with me because Madden 09 is FAST, faster than it has usually been. I remember that demo and how I had an insane feeling of anxiety because of the speed. This demo should be nothing and neither should Madden 10...Ok, done installing. Be back later with me impressions!
