Honestly, I am of the opinion that anyone who simply can't go without...a video game to the point that they would go out and spend a whole $60 on something they seem to dislike or not be pleased with really has no business bringing up credibility - they don't have much of it themselves, IMO. I mean, that kind of thing leads me to believe that such people really don't value their hard earned $60 as much as they claim to, or, that they are seriously lacking in willpower.

I don't believe I ever said that anyone had to do anything. You are misinterpreting here, and that's my fault for not explaining more clearly. I do not think people should compromise what they want out of the series- these 'next gen' games should be better than they are - I think most of us agree on that. It is messed up how this current gen of sports football games have seemingly taken a step back, but, there is nothing that can be done for this year. The game is basically finished and probably only days away from going gold. I mentioned those other titles as....alternatives - you know, other options someone looking for a sim right now (instead of always waiting 'til next year) could take to get that 'football fix' other than shelling out a 'hard earned $60' for a game that you feel is not up to par. That's it, that's all.

It is tough, very tough. I did it with NCAA 09 (didn't buy it) and it was hard the first month or so. But let me tell you, it gets easier everytime you pass by without buying. As time goes by you see other games that take your interest as well.

Then there are the in-store promotions and the price cuts. That tempts you too, but just keep walking. It's tough to vote with your wallet on a series that you've played for 10+ years. But, sometimes things have to be done and examples have to be made.

P.S. - I know that sounds a little dramatic like a tale of loss and love, LOL, but it was for effect.

Hey Now! If the roster fix gets in, I'll def. be giving this game a rental to see if it's worth buying! I hope they come through.

Just goes to show that community feedback DOES make a difference. You think they would even be considering disallowing DLC in online dynasty if it wasn't for the HUGE backlash from the online community? No sir.

They were ranked that high in D last year largely because the play of their Seniors and a few Juniors. Most of those guys are gone now. Being anchored this year by Eric Norwood is a good start, but they have some holes to fill. I would be surprised if they're that high again this year.

Isn't it too late for them to update the game disc? Won't the roster update then be in a downloadable patch which will be released probably a week after the game is released (at the earliest)?

Eitherway, it could be 2 weeks after launch before we have great named rosters.
