NCAA Football 10 Rosters Issue

I wonder if the PS2 version's roster will have the same problem as the 360 and PS3.

It shouldn't because their is no teambuilder mode in the PS2 version.

Wait, are all of you saying that EA uses the likeness of the current college football rosters? Isn't that illegal?

To be honest, I remember back in the day when we use to a game that gave us the previous rosters. Don't ya'll realize that that if EA comes out and say that they will update the roster, then they will be admitting that they use current players? Some of you need to chill out and be patient. If you don't like it, then don't buy it and the results will be in the sales if the majority agrees. But to keep crying about it is useless.

no totally different ratings.....once again im stuck playing football on my ps3 using ps2 game..good thing for NBA2k and The Show or else my ps3 would just collect dust

An updated roster has nothing to do with the potential outcome of this case. The game already has enough examples of this "evidence". A roster update is totally irrelavent to this case at this point the damage (if there is any) would already be done. Changing a few things around to fix some teams will not effect this case. EA has been doing this for years and many games have likenesses of players, So now they just vary the roster a little bit to try and throw off potential evidence , makes no sense . it does not matter plane and simple. This roster issue is one of incompetance not one of legal implications

My point is that they are not going to come right out and say that they will update the rosters. They will say that they will fix the issues with the freshmen. If you say that you are updating them, then what are you saying? What are you updating them to? EA will not come out any say that, but it doesn't mean that they aren't going to do anything about it. I think they will but they will not say it in the way that people want to hear it BECAUSE of the legal issues.
So I agree that they messed up. They have acknowledged it, and said that they will work on a solution. What else do you want at this point in time? Some people has taken if way too personal by calling them incompetent, saying that they should fire people and so forth. It is only a game and I think that some are taking it too far with the personal insults.

I definitely am not saying that we should be censored. But there has to be a point where you are going to say f' it and don't buy it. To keep making threads and making attacks that can be view as personal is going a little too far. There is a difference in saying, "I don't like how the game is shaping up", and "I think that this person should be fired". There is a difference between I'm not buying this game", and "they are incompetent".

It won't affect this case, but it could potentialy add more fuel to the fire for future cases. Also calm down with the incompetance stuff. like no one on here as ever made a mistake at their jobs before. the idea is to cultivate the relationship with these developers not to drive them away from the boards.

The rosters that shipped with teambuilder.....that's just laziness. I've bought every year of NCAA for as long as i can remember. If the rosters arent fixed , I know I wont be buying this game. Maybe none of us should, maybe just maybe then The Ncaa dev. team would well...maybe do some work for 11.
