What exactly is wrong with the footwork????

I can move around the ring easily using either fighter...

Maybe you guys are move while holding the block buttons which slows you down as it should do...

Its amazing how many things the game got right yet still didnt address. Examples

Positives
-glancing shots

-Accidental Clinching, and intentional clinching isn’t penalized as much

-In fighting so now pushing makes sense

-Parrying isn’t the end all it used to be

-Stunning and knockdowns are far more realistic.

-Muscle animations

-faster footwork (but that’s not saying much)

Negatives
-Did I miss the ref?

-Still cant move your head and feet at the same time which forces you to fight in the pocket

-no button punching. The game isn’t arcadish because of the accuracy of button punching its arcadish because of the footwork and lack of head movement. The head movement is nice but the fact that you cant move your feet at the same time takes a lot away from it.

-Straight punches are still too accurate and still too weak.

-Ratings still suck. The game has individual arm power but still no individual punch power. How can you have a Ricky Hatton without a body punch rating?

-TCP seems pointless. Moving the sticks harder or faster doesn’t seem to make a big enough difference to justify the lack of accuracy and learning curve.

The CPU throws too many punches. Do they know its only a 3 round fight?

2 major things

You cant move your head and feet at the same time

The AI for the footwork is atrocious. The CPU didnt do anything but walk in and punch. Hatton's not far from being a pure slugger but he does a lot more than walking forward which is all he did in the game.

Boxer's road still boxes circles around it.

Yea, I agree that you should be able to feint and move at the same time, but I wouldnt go as far as ducking and moving....

Also dont forgot that the CPU AI is on the easiest level...

If its anything like UFC, the harder levels wil be more skilled....

man this demo was tight at first, but when i started fighting something felt weird. i mean i was just gettin hit all up in my face and hittin the computer for 3 straight rounds, but it seems like they have unlimited stamina or something. plus the AI is stupid and makes it very unrealistic when all they do is walk for and throw punches when your tryna make it as real as possible by moving your feet and choosing when and where to throw combos.

I think i will have to rent this game at first because my exectations were alittle high. i hope this will change on the real game.

I am unable to download the demo but, FN3 I became an all analog guy. The game grew on me and I am really looking forward to Round 4.

Its like I'm playing a different game or something, because I can calm hattons *** down and make him start backing up off me, and the A.I. for PacMan absolutely does not pressure you all the time.

I regards to stamina, I have to state again, ITS ADJUSTABLE. There is a slider for it. You want your boxers to get tired after throwing 2 punches? Go ahead. The game is fully customizable folks. I'm trying to figure out what part of that people are not understanding.

In reference to UFC, I just bought that the other day and it is a great game, but footwork? Its aiight, but UFCs physics engine is way stiff. FNs physic engine is way beyond that, no opinion, thats a fact. You can feel it.

Thanks for saying this. Also copy what you posted about learning how to be patient with the right stick. Some folks have gone bananas about, and exaggerate the issues a little to much.
