I would of enjoyed the demo more and played it longer if they had a option to use buttons to throw punches. The analog system is not precise and takes way from the fun factor and realism.

I would of rather they had jim lampley doing commentary. He brings a more exciting approach to the matches.

The more I play w/ TPC, the more I hate it but I'm not going to beat a dead horse. They really need to speed up haymakers. The game looks great though. Hope they fix the TPC config so that a hook to the head is just 3-9 o'clock flicks.

My feel for the game improves with my haymaker practice against the CPU. I started practicing left hook haymakers concentrating mostly on head shots. I did it so many times the right hooks are natural and even the combo haymakers come easily. I just KOed PacMan in the first round after 2 knockdowns and 22 of 33 haymaker shots. The AI is tame in this game, but still fun and a good way to practice your hook combos, regular or haymaker.

Haymaker's speed is just right IMO.

Exactly, if it was any faster it would just become a haymaker fest again because there's no risk\reward with it. To really be able to pull off a good haymaker your opponent has to make a mistake and leave himself open and this game represents that well. Conversely the haymaker should be telegraphed a but because it gives the opponent time to react and that way it keeps it from being abused again because a good player can nail off a counter strike or back away. Nowif they properly penalize stamina for those who want throw haymakers every 3rd punch then it will be perfect.

I beg to differ. I boxed for a while and I can tell you, the faster the punch, the harder (usually), though there are cases where slower guys like Foreman hit harder b/c of their size. And if you watch tape of Tyson, Roy Jones, Leonard, etc. The biggest/hardest hits are shots that look like blurs. That's realism. So, I do understand that it shouldn't be abused but at the same time it's not realistic. The solution to stop abuse of it would be to make haymakers take more stamina from fighters and if you load up and swing and miss too many of them, you become fatigued and easier to hit (which happens in real life). Just my $0.02.

I cant lie, I'm lovin the demo so far. Some folks are trying to compare FN with UFC, I guess that is understandable. With that being stated, I tried to do the same thing. Play FN demo, then play UFC demo back and forth to see which one would hold my attention the longest.

After doing that, honestly I cant distinguish a clear winner. I didn't want to go back specifically to one or the other, both games are great in their own right. I have both preordered.

I pretty much have nothing but pros for each game. The cons I've recognized are these observations: UFC-dont like the fact that you cant move your torso/sway. FN4-dont like the fact that the torso/sway doesnt seem to work fluidly, there were only a couple of times I could effectively use the lean and dodge a punch. I had to use block to stop from being hit. The lean worked EVERY once in awhile.
