Umm...explain to me how throwing a jab takes more energy than throwing a right hook. There's more energy and time put into a hook, unless you don't know how to throw a hook.

That's the problem with watching people play this game. First off, boxing takes patience. You can't jump in there and start landing huge punches. It takes a huge amount of energy to time and land a hook. Not to mention all that's going on with the other boxer.

Not to be a jerk, but your comment is completely false.

I thought his comment was a little odd too. I can snap off 3 quick jabs and expend less energy than an uppercut. Ever see Clazaghe train? He can snap off 500 straight jabs into a bag without losing much if anything. I guarantee he can't do that with 500 straight uppercuts.

Calazage's speed work on the heavy bag (electronic counting of punches) got me tired just looking at him.

Energy was the wrong word..but jab, hooks, uppercuts are all equal to throw in real life. You can put more power into an uppercut for instance than a jab, but it requires the same amount of effort to throw a jab as it does a hook all else being equal. TPC removes this basic common principle.

Fight Night should focus on angles and stamina, not goofy Street Fighter principles that require rotation when in real life they don't exist.

It is common sense.

Re: Fight Night Round 4 Demo Impressions

You know, I'm sitting at work right now hoping to get some impressions and all I'm read is bashing on each other.

Come on guys lets get back to the topic on hand. I don't want comments on the vids either.

LOL! I thought someone said the 360 demo would be out around 2 pm? I guess that's not the case. I was going to go home for lunch just to play it. I'm glad I caught up in meetings all afternoon.

MS, what's the deal with this.
