I know Doc did something like this and I think a few others, but there's been so much said and so many different variations/opinions expressed that I was wondering.
Trying to figure out why the post game highlights aren't showing.....

I deleted the game utility folder like Dr Ursus said to do.

So the game and patch had to be reloaded. It did not work.

Here's what I noticed.....

At some point during the game, around the 7th inning, the replay vault stops recording. Its says NONE for replays in the 7th, 8th and 9th inning.

At that point, you will not see any post game highlights. If you go into the replay vault in the 4th inning for example, you can review the highlites. Once it stops recording highlited in the 7th inning, the only highlite you will see at the end of the game is the last play with no fielders and sometimes no batter on the field.

Here's the other thing, If I play 3 innings or so and then fast forward to the 9th and play the 9th inning, I do get Post game High Lites.

So its almost as if the replay vault is "running out of space".

Is there any way to make sure Russell or someone sees this because it will probably just get muddled up inbetween a host of bickering, but I think it may help them isolate this problem.

Thanks.

No one could say with any confidence within two days of the patch and the information given is so inconsistent. Overall it appears people who were continuing pre patch franchises are having the most problems. Russell mentioned releasing an announcement today- wait for that.

thanks for the response fist and you could PM him the info. But I do believe that he'll read it because he stated that he read the entire thread yesterday, so I have no reason to believe that when he hops back on that he won't do the same this time around.

Re: MLB 09: The Show Patch Released 4/27/09 - Impressions and Discussion Here

I was wondering if there have been any reports of post patch issues in SEASON mode. I have read through most of this thread and from what I can gather the problems (crashes) seem to be happening in Franchise & RTTS modes. Has anybody heard of any of these post patch problems while in SEASON mode?

Since this is also impressions, I started a Yankees (ugh) franchise last night and was able to draw 4 walks and got hit by two pitches. CC wasn't perfect but pitched a strong 7 innings, giving up 2 runs to leave with a 3-2 lead. I left way too many guys on base. Jose Veras and Damaso Marte proceed to blow the lead in the 8th and I lose. Must be the "comeback" code. I love this game.

I started a new franchise yesterday with Ridins rosters, and I got post-game highlights. I only played one game, but at least everything worked fine for that game.

Maybe the swine flu virus is more powerful than we thought....take the patch to the hospital.....STAT!!!!

Hope I don't offend anyone...just tryin to bring some levity to the patch debacle!!

Just watchin the news and the top story on all the morning shows is the H1-N1 strain of the flu...there's a pig farm in Veracruz, Mexico gettin a thorough check.

For what it's worth, I've played both my pre-patch franchise and started a new franchise with Knight and Friends rosters and haven't had any problems with either. I get post game highlights, no crashing or any of the other issues some have seen. Knock on wood!!!
