Mr. Kembo, this is your boss. Get to work, you gold-bricker (LOL).

I haven't done anything either, I just keep switching between the forum and Visual Studio when I hear footsteps (LOL).

Fatigue/Stamina has been somewhat of an issue in this game for awhile now. It just appears whatever tweaks they made for 09 has the DH going at a faster rate than position players in general...regardless of age. How can you jump on people for using real-world comparisons by making your own real-world comparison? Or am I misunderstanding intent?

There seems to be an issue there for several people and they are discussing it in the most logical place...the patch thread. Most have done so in an honest, mature fashion. The irony here is that it's the ones trying to defend the position are spitting out much more emotional responses than those looking for it to be addressed...which, in turn, causes emotion from the other side as well.
The proverbial chicken and egg. My point is; for as good as the game is, some of the small errors that many on these boards logically and illogically gripe about inconclusively affect the overall game.

The sense of self entitlement here is mind blowing, as Lewis CK recently and accurately pointed out on Conan, look how quickly, and how much some feel they are owed; (for which the technology didn't even exist 3 or 4 years ago!) moreover, the pursuit of this ridiculous video game perfection is absolutely absurd.

Hahaha I don't even switch. Maybe a quick alt-tab if someone is actually coming into my office.

There's a few more than 10 dave. I count 22 (I can provide a list too if you really want) and that's in the last 2 pages here, the franchise freeze thread and the RTTS thread. I didn't want to go through the 50 pages of this thread.

Considering what, 1-2% of the people that own this game post on here, I think it's safe to say 100's of people are having franchise freezing the day after the patch.

BTW, I deleted the patch and can play games again without a problem. I'm pretty confident it is the patch.

That's the point. If you read back, the main one's asking about it (like brunnoce, for example) haven't been rude, demanding, etc. They've just expressed disappointment (in a healthy way) and then moved on to asking questions. Someone jumped in and tried to put them in there place by stating (without real knowledge too, mind you) that the issue was "made up".

You've shifted from the point a bit (and in all fairness, maybe I missed yours). Making blanket statements to cover either argument is equally silly and points to nothing, really. It doesn't have to be as black and white as you're trying to make it. The issue for people is something that IS in the game and WAS working differently is apparently not this year. They DO have a right to disappointment on that without being draped with the "self entitlement" blanket.

Some people will never be happy and complain about everything...I agree. I don't think we always have to gear our counters to that lowest common denominator though.

It works both ways too. One could argue that those who jump on every complaint that goes on are self endulgent. It's rediculous to think that ANY complaint that gets brought forth (even the most legit) has to go through the defense filter. It's actually counter-productive to getting such bugs recognized and ironed out.

Maybe we're on different pages here. I'm talking about real gripes and you seem to be pointing to baseless complainers. I have no disagreement with that premise. In fact, I've had my own gripes with people senslessly demanding from/bashing SCEA. There's a constructive way and non-constructive way to handle it. On that, we are certainly on the same page.

My only point was, to refute every gripe as rediculous based on your personal ranking of it, and without understanding the nature of the complaint only exacerbates the issue and puts the focus on the more dramatic, negative posters among us.

But now I'm doing the same...lol...so with that, (in the interest of avoiding full on hypocrasy) I'm done. Sorry to all for derailing the thread with an apparently poor attempt at promoting reason.

Back to the show!

The point, and argument are moot, and completely irrelevant when taken out of context from the "fatigue" system of the game. If a player playing DH looses slightly more energy than he "should" (if this were real life - which some of you need reminding is NOT) and plays 10 or 12 less games over a season, and THIS makes you loose sleep and endlessly hammer a keyboard on the internet - self evaluation time.
All I was doing was pointing out an issue that actually exists. I've made two posts about this patch - the one you responded to and something related to the 60-day DL. I fail to see how that puts me into the "self evaluation"/losing sleep category.

In general, players in the DH spot lose stamina as much as position players. As a result, one strategy from the game of baseball can be completely ignored. It's the same thing with 60-day DL. I post in hope that it will get recognized and fixed it in a future release. I don't post because it's causing me to take sleeping pills.
