Managers use players at DH to give them some rest. It's almost like a full day off. Leyland was doing this with Guillen and Ordonez in the first series against Toronto. Maybe you should move along.
Show me evidence that DHs play more games than position players? If DHs didn't fatigue in this game, they would be playing in too many games. Yes, managers rest players at DH, but the Show could not incorporate this unless DHing was equivalent to a day off. If this was programmed, DHs would always have perfect fatigue and would be playing in too many games in a season. There's no "DH bug" because it works in the game as the programmers intended.

I did the same thing last year. After buying MLB 2k I was pissed because that was a horrid game. So I sold my 360 and bought the ps3 and this game. My point is, once you get into the game it's the best. Even with the problems, do you really want the alternative?? If 2k made a great game as well and it didn't have the same issues The Show has this year, then yea, it would be hard not to say, "the hell with The Show!!". But the alternative is a really bad sim of baseball.

If you have the time, you can do what's necessary to make this game really fun. I chose that route. At this point Scea KNOWS the issues and I'm sure they are working hard to fix the problems.

After the 100th complaint.....what good does it do to make 101?? Some guys are calling them out over and over and it's just piling on at this point.

Think about it, if you made a mistake at your job with a customer and several brought that mistake to your attention...would it not frustrate you that you were trying to help but couldn't cause those same customers wouldn't leave you alone and let you work on the problem??

Sorry if this has been asked and answered already, but is the disabled list fixed yet? Are we able to sign FA's without releasing someone?

I haven't been having many problems other than that, so I don't want to risk anything with the patch unless that has been fixed.

The issues being reported are as follows (dont know if some of these were before patch or not)

- Existing franchise/RTTS crashing
- no end of game highlights
- no players on field and bad graphics for replay (only last play available)
- With roster control "ON", lineups not sticking (the workaround is to set them after spring training, which doesnt seem right, should be able to set in main menu imo)
- 60 day DL not working right (think this was pre-patch too)
- Some people ahve said dialogue still mixed (Delgado/Beltran). Doesnt matter to me, but some people are reporting it
- No way to get correct stats on old rosters (had to throw it in there )
- No flashback replays being reported by some (fistofrage had no flashbacks or replays i believe)

on an individual note
- for what its worth (not much at this point), i think we should be able to set any/all lineups in main menu, and then have the CPU address only when a change is needed. This would be with roster control off. So we set in main menu, it carries forward to a franchise, and CPU sticks with it until an injury, this would allow for accurate lineups/rosters to begin, but then your new lineup logic could take over. Same with rotations. Im tired of facign John Smoltz, then Dice-K and then Beckett, Beckett is their ace, he should be their #1 starter (until injury).

Any who, hope this helps Russell, and thanks for the input/feedback.

I agree with you. I have both systems and i agree that SCEA does a way better job at Baseball games, but i just wanted them to know how i felt about all these glitches that's all. They said they fixed the
line-up glitch, but it's still there. All i want is that they really fix these issues.
