Yup long as you use the new rosters it should be fine. All the old rosters are "contaminated" that's why Knight and others have to re-do them.

Try it and find out, no one here knows for sure yet. No two people are using the same settings, rosters, etc to accurately predict a hypothesis.

Bold. That I didn't think about. Thanks corey.

I think he was just showing his displeasure with the fact that it wont work with Knights rosters since its pretty safe to assume he isnt going back in to do all the work again. With that said, what did SCEA do that caused this in the first place? It wasnt the CPU Roster Control issue since that wasnt fixed anyways, couldnt have been the DL issue since that wasnt fixed as well so what was it?

Well if its that important to you and you dont think it will take that long then jump on it sport, it isnt his job nor is it his fault this happened either. You cant expect him to go back and redo 2 months worth of work at this point, he should be enjoying the game he paid for at this point.

moemoe i would personally not do it again. The problems others are having with the game (historical stats, cubs schedule etc) wasn't that much of an issue for me i like the gameplay enough to overlook some of that stuff, but maybe something you wanted fixed is fixed but it looks like a new franchise needs to be started.
This auto baserunning thing is pretty annoying, was that so much of an issue that they felt they needed to change it?

Im just surprised that people are having franchise crashes now in addition to all this other madness.

1 )If i understand correctly, to have the correct historical stats, you have to use a new roster (4/20 or later), is that right?
2) TO have the correct lineups you can either A) use Knights lineup fix rosters (v1 or v2) or B) use his version 3, or any other rosters, turn roster control on and set them in game? So basically you either go with injuries and the CPU controlling everything outside of your team or you turn roster control on, and give up trades, injuries and everything else. Am i right in those statements?

Yes that's right all the old rosters from the roster vault are contaminated. Knight and others have to create those rosters all over again hence why he said it sucks.

Appreciate that your spending time in here today.

Can you confirm/deny or shed some light on what will happen to franchises loaded with Knights current rosters after patch application?

But, guys, we can't expect Knight to redo his rosters. He has lost countless hours already.
No no.....that's not what I meant at all, in fact, I was saying that like it would be almost ridiculous for him to have to redo them.

I think I'm just gonna ride this year with the franchise I'm already 16 into. I just wish I knew what the patch does to franchises already in progress. Some are saying their franchise crashed on them and I definitely don't want that. I will play it with no patch if necessary.
