the demo is fantastic. i don't care much for baseball, but even i know that this game is awesome. it's like watching a game on tv. which is how all sports games should be.

i think a good way to use this feature would also be to have defenders get lost staring down the qb. sometimes the safety may be waiting for that deep in from your outside receiver and a pump fake may get them to try and jump that route.

mlb the show went the SIM route and look at the reviews.

they didnt make the game for the average fan.
madden should do the same and make the game SIM as to what we see every sunday.

and the guy who said when the db turns around to look for the ball should slow down.........YOURE ABSOLUTLY CORRECT

That's why I wrote this in the post my man:
"Well now we can make a DB track the ball realistically and we’ll make sure that he has a true line of sight before he can make a play on the ball."

Bottom-line, will this change the current gameplay? Currently in Madden, a DB can be 5 or so yards from a well thrown ball and make up the distance (nano speed) in no time to knock the ball down or int. Additionally, Madden DB's and LB's have NBA leaping skills which make it almost impossible to complete a touch/gap/over the head pass.

I actually have switched back to All Pro because of the gamplay. Ian, can EA simply duplicate and expand on All Pro's gameplay and player physic? Also take note of NBA 2K9 animation/gameplay/physic. I am not trying to start a war, but 2K seems to have the sports gaming skills in order to create a realistic sports video game.

There is way too much separation in the game, defenders should be able to cover receivers closer. I think the procedural awareness could be used for defenders to scan for potential receivers coming into their zone, so that they could jump routes more effectively. In addition to this, from the offensive side of the ball, this jumping of receivers would make it more realistic to high-low and horizontally stretch defenders. For example, a lb reads pass and begins do drop into his zone, he then looks to the rec that could threaten his zone first, if the receiver starts to come his way, he jumps him, if not, he scans for the next receiver and so on. PA could lead to defenses actually beginning to pattern read offensive patterns.

This should stop the unexplainable interceptions when you leading your wr. Here are some other features they should look into.
1. Qb using an L button or trigger buttons and then a face button, the Qb should be able to assign a lineman to a blitzing defensive player. The head tracking system can be used widely here
2. No more breaking tackles you can't see. Stiffarming defenders from the back, and just coming down from a hurdle and then breaking a tackle should be abolished.
3. Head tracking should be used for the "espn analyst that will appear in pre-game, halftime, postgame show"- You know the stuff you were suppose to have in current gen. This should be used for when they are refering to each other
4. If this headtracking is major stuff, then there is more work to be done.
