The screens for franchise are identical to NBA 2K9. Thats not a bad thing at all.

The bolded sentence I'm curious about, and hope he elaborates on it.

Does this mean we will get certain things like the "player contracts" aspect of NBA 2K9. For those who don't know, you can give team/player options, and use a certain role and sub-role to lure a player to your team.

Ex. Maybe for pitchers you can sign someone as your staff ace, and give him a contract worthy of that when the competition is giving him a "#2 starter" role. Or for an OF'er maybe you can give them the starting RF spot, when another team is offering a 4th OF'er role.

I hope that you can edit contracts too like you could in NBA 2K9. Plus NBA 2K9 has development drills and scouting, and if this is being "built from the ground-up" I would hope that given the all-new menus there will be all-new features for franchise mode.

It would be a HUGE positive for me as a franchise junkie. Even greater roster editing possibilities if this is the case

It's obvious atmosphere is a focus this year. Lunging fans, cowbells at the Trop.. etc.

This makes much more sense than holding up and hitting the "Y" button twice. Click to lead, hold to steal. Nice!

Ishikawa grabs it, throws it home for one out, then as my catcher throws it back to first, he hits Ishikawa while he's running back to the bag and he beats the base runner to the bag for out number three. Crazy. That actually made me jump out of my chair it was so bang-bang close. It's also one of those moments where you realize you're really into the game you're playing.

Those are the type of moments when you realize you are sucked in. I love it!
