how about in game sports ticker based on your actual franchise. asb baseball did this so well! haven't seen it done that well since. 2k did it a few years back but only during pause menu or idol game period. the ticker needs to be added.
in addition, in asb baseball, it would start of a game clear and then begin to snow or rain. No game since has done this well.
i also hope active in game bullpens are there...

Yes, that adds to the game. Anyone recommend a FREE music editor that will crop songs?

There are only 3 things that I hope were added this year and if at least 2 of them were I will be be very happy and consider this game almost perfect in my eyes

#1 Collision Detection with players at all the bases (especially HOME)

#2 Ability to charge in on a ball and unleash a strong throw to any base on the dead run with no momentum killing "slam on the breaks" animation

#3 Ability to choose your batting style as an option on any difficulty level

If all 3 of these were added I will personally send SCEA a gift basket

Blast from the past (and I'm sure there are better options), but I remember the old EA NHL games (2000-2002) having an editor program that would do that - and add reverb too. I believe it was called Ditty Importer, or wimpditt (w = window, imp = import, ditt = ditty). I spent hours upon hours using that tool to import music into the NHL games. I found the file easily with a google search.

One thing though - it converts them to .asf which is kind of an oddball format. Like I said, I'm sure there are better options out there. The reverb feature is nice though, and might make it worth a look.

I'm not a NHL '00-'02 player but that name Ditty Importer sounds very familiar.

Maybe it's from mods for MVP '05... could be mistaken but I think it is where I recognize the name.
