I hate to start another gripe thread, but.....

This could make the game very frustrating. In past years, when you get roster updates online they just throw injured players in the minors. Well with the new roster management in '09, will this waste one of the options for that player. I hope that they have thought this through and changed the way they treat injured players. Maybe like Madden does and automatically puts the injured player on IR, but that can be frustrating too, like when you start a new 'chise and player that was hurt in real life in week 4 is out for the year, and you don't even get him for the first three weeks in your 'chise.

Maybe I am just worrying too much about this, but if it is the same as last year it could bother a lot of people.

Anyone have any thoughts on how this could be done?? SCEA guys have any info.??

This game is still going to be sweet, just bought a ps3 for this game!!!!

I almost didn't reply to this, because you chose to, multiple times, used the word "chise." I can't put into words how much I hate it when people type that.

As for the topic at hand, it won't be an issue because the roster updates doesn't affect Frachise mode. The roster updates are for exhibition. So if an injured player is in the minors, make sure to put him on the MLB roster before you start your Franchise.

I'd like to just be able to put any player on the DL before going into a franchise. If you could just put a player on the DL while doing roster management, I think it could work out the way we want it. I remember doing that with All Star Baseball on N64.
