Like many things, sometimes you don't know what is inferior (on a sensual basis) until you experience an improved version of that same thing.

With that being said, if we get the improved player models next year, you will notice the difference, and when you go back to MLB '07, you'll really see how far SCEA has come to making one of the most aesthetically pleasing video games on the PlayStation 3.

Well, you and I is just gonna have to keep on waiting. No confirmation yet, just the same teaser of fans wearing weather gear.

But it doesn't stop there. You can also adjust your personal rituals, swings even emotions as you create Mini-You.
Is this for real???... nah, it couldn't be what I'm thinking, or could it?

Chris, Kolbe.... Brian please refrain from answering these Q's if you're thinking about doing so. I'd like to dream about weather conditions & signature swings through the rest of the holiday season. Thnx
What's in plain sight so far looks great though!.... & short sleeves at night

I'm going to guess there are two options: one-handed and two-handed.

If they go beyond that, I'll be very impressed. The only problem is I doubt they've done like 200 of them, so when one on your team looks unique and the others look generic, it may look kind of awkward.

One thing I would prefer in this game before signature swings is signature strides, and by that I mean strides that are unique to the player's batting stance. Otherwise we get players with some different batting stance, looking all funky with their legs and bat waggle, then they revert to some generic stride where their bat is angled the same way as everybody else and they get rid of what they were just doing, and sometimes it can come off as awkward. That just may be me, though. The only game that I know that does this is Pro Yakyuu Spirits.

As will I since this is a very difficult thing to implement & something that's never been accomplished before... cept with Ichiro in MVP 2005.

The guy they have doing the mo-cap mimic's every batters full sequence including their stride & swing. So if the Sony team can get all those swings programmed into the game properly, it could happen.

I agree, but I figured they'd get each batters stride, swing & follow through all done in one shot. By the way, MVP had unique strides also.

I must know

In '09 using manual fielding will you finally be able to charge a ball with an outfielder and unleash a strong throw home while on the dead run ????

I have been hoping and preying that this is possible this year
Well you will in 09 now be able to make a force out out second for the thrid out so maybe you can also now unleash a strong throw home on the dead run

Wow, I really hope batting practice is in. That would be incredible. Kolbe I remember the email that you asked for and that I asked for this feature to be put in and the fact that you guys look like you implemented makes you guys an awesome company. Hopefully homerun derby is in this year!?
